what agenda? The issue is that maybe they could have made 654rwhp or 540 rwhp is the fuel was cooler. Without a back to back test who will know. All people can do it look at the physics and make a descision based on the logical extension of the facts.

    First off

you shit can these rails for reasons known only to you, and in your own words, "Without a back to back test who will know"so it's a certainty you don't know, but the attack continues, the only question is, and in light of the two sheets above, WHY.

"The issue is that maybe they could have made 654rwhp or 540 rwhp is the fuel was cooler"
There are no fuel related issues recorded anywhere in the zed community world wide from people using these rails, there is only un-metered bluster coming you.

"All people can do it look at the physics and make a descision based on the logical extension of the facts"
The logical extension of the facts are that rob made 626whp and chris made 504whp, it's there for everyone to see, 2+2 still equals 4, doesn't it.

The inference of an agenda raised by me, has been answered, you just stumbled in at the 11 hour.

I thought I'd made it obviously clear previously in this thread, that I don't care who uses what rail, people can use anything they like, bits of scrap bike tube, water pipe, I don't care. What I do care about is people spreading information based on nothing more than a gut feeling, if you really want to prove yourself right get the relevant data and post it up here for everyone to see.

Do 300deg rails cater for a temp sensor in the rail???

    Yes they

do mate, theres a spot one in each rail, caterer's for L/H R/H drive cars.

Would anyone that has some 300 degree rails care to post up some fuel temps? Seems we could dispell the rumours right here right now if we have some numbers...

    What i said

came out wrong, there is a spot for the temp sensor, its in the p/s rail, it caterers both left and right hand drive cars.

i can get normal driving condition fuel temps.

And what would you compare them too?

The only way to accurately gauge is back to back test, same dyno, same car, with the only difference being the rails.

Fact is they fit, the flow plenty of fuel, and there are plenty of big HP cars using them without issue.

I don't know where all the fuss has come from...

Come on Tekky, do the maths! I can't be bothered...

And I can guarantee that 300deg did it when they designed it, no point making fancy CFD models and not modeling the heat transfer to the fuel ;)

sure there is a reason. profit. but any who. cheap mod to keep some happy. if you got the money and feel the need, by all means go 300...
    no more an den

Maybe they did. But did they model the stock rail as well? and what do you reckon the chances of them publishing the results are ??

    none i would think.

Of course they would have modeled the stock rail, they talk about % better than stock a few times. And it would have been stuff all work to do it.

but ususally about flow rate etc. there is no mention on the site about thermal coupling.

You are a mechanical ginger beer Chrispy. Whats your opinion on thermal coupling of the stock versus 300 degree rails? Which has better thermal isolation?

The stock one of course. But the 300deg rail has a lot larger mass, so will disperse the heat better and take longer to heat up, but is Ally so will transfer more heat quicker.

It's iffy, couldn't comment if it actually matters. I think the radiation will be the main problem rather than conduction too.

Just a bit off topic. But found a different type fuel setup which probably will absorb less heat than stock and 300 degree fuel rail.
