This looks good although it could leak, as everything gets hot racing, road car should be fine, although hot summer day in traffic things get hot to. Reason is the lower plenum being alloy grows a lot with heat, and the seal and buffer should take this up I guess but ? As this is a one peice rail now.
Playing around with a spare rail I've got here, can anyone in the know point out if I've done something obviously wrong? Internals have been bored out to 1/2", which is -8an. The rest of the system will be run in -8an. This is just a test for now, but I'd rather not waste money on fittings if I've accidently destroyed something haha.
overkill Didn't think stock rail could be bored out so much ? If you are feeding a 8an line to twin feed setup on the stock rail ..boring to 5/16 (8mm) is plenty . By the way 8an is 11.2mm ID if you are running single feed . .
