This is looking good! Whether I track the car or take photos will depend on the finances closer to the day...

So tell me Guys n Girls... as a show of hands how many of us are really going..
We need to organise a cruise and travel up there together.
Also, (never start a sentence with also) I was wondering, do we pay on the day when we get there and do we need a Helmet...??

(Edit: Yes we do... can I borrow one off anybody?? I'll chuck on a hairnet if you like... not that I have much. ...hair that is!)

What would be a good meet up point and what time would we need to leave (never been there before..!!)

Edit: Just visited the site, Gates open at 08:00 Scrutineering at 08:15

    Not a problem.

Make it 2 weeks before, I'm a bit hard to catch at home at the moment.

Scrutineering runs all day so it doesn't really matter what time we get there. If we get there late, the only thing we miss out on is the drivers' briefing. Last time we left around 7am and we got there around 10:30 or so. I suggest leaving around 5:30am.

We should meet somewhere North, as we have to drive past there anyway so maybe someone from around the area can suggest a meeting place.

I'm going to suggest 2 meets. One at Shell servo on the corner of Princes Hwy and Warrigal rd for SE suburbs members and another meet for the Northern/western suburbs members at the BP/Maccas/KFC at Wallan/heathcote junction, which is on the hume hwy.
If we leave at 5.30am from the SE meet it'll get us to the northern meet at around 6.30am. depending on how long we stay there (breakfast?) should get us there at around 8-8.30ish.

yes yes yes i have a way way way better idea ,,

    how about this ..

why dont we leave at 730 , we will be there at say 1030,
this way i can have my ( as Chris would say ) beauty sleep,,
we are not going to miss out on much , if anything ..
come on guys we can do it ...its not as if we will be racing all day .

we will be on the track at 1031 am ..

sounds like a plan to me ..
