Yep, that's it, control box for over temp sensors. If you look under the car, jsut after (I think) the cats there will be a probe in each exhaust that feeds back to that little box. If the exhaust gets to hot due to burning too lean, or FAR too much fuel it will trigger that crazy little light on the dash. Does not interface with the ECU so can be removed if you wish.
