Who has the oldest Z32 on this forum?

    Mine was made on 10/89.

    But we'll go by the numbers... :)

    Chassis number = 504046

    So far I'm winning... :D

    I'm confused!

    My VIN is GZ32-005980.

    If you look at the database here it doesn't match upto anything :confused:

    Anyone shed some light?

    And what does the GZ, CZ etc mean?

    Your car was built in March 1990. Color code KH2, interior G, Manual according to FAST.

    The tech section is broken as far as VIN numbers are concerned - links lead to nothing. The link you posted is one of the more incomplete VIN records and should really be replaced with the one named 'pdf file' in the A-Z section (VIN numbers)

    Me and Heavy_Trevy reckon that my car might have started her life as an auto. GCZ32-513702. Can you shed some light on this stef?

    Have a look at the silver plate on you car like this. At the bottom it will list the transmission (I have an auto RE4R03A). A manual will have RS5R30A there instead.

    there is this little black box with 2 braided lines running out from it. I got no idea what it is, i guess ill take a pic this weekend

    Hi,

    Mine is 500015 and has a heap of wiring that is not standard on any other Zeds I have seen. I have often wondered if it may have been one of Nissans test cars.

    I have an auto, but I didn't get a box like that? Maybe some sort of boost controller or gauge setup? Yeah put a pic up.
