Installed a brand new speed sensor yesterday, no more failing speedo/power steering and the car feels much more powerful holding and changing gears much better and much faster off the line as a result.

FINALLY pulled the console out and put in the stereo from my old Zed.

I also made an improved version of my automatic mirror control circuit to rectify a few minor glitches I discovered with the original circuit and installed it:

*Bigger 10A relays (More for the physical size - the smaller 3A ones were starting to stick - I'm assuming form heat from being mounted in the transmission tunnel)
*10000uF 40v (anything above 16v would have wored, 40v was all they had) Capacitor and 1A diode connected to the main relay to hold it on for a few seconds to stop the mirrors twitching out/in/out again when starting the car and to stop the mirrors twitching in a fraction and getting stuck when starting the car from accessories (Mirrors would be auto out).

Works perfectly, still have instant manual override with the factory switch :D

With a huuuge thanks from Eric. Fitted replacement sump. Have proper oil pressures.... and some other tubey turbo oil drain thingies... for justin.

Stripped out interior. Replaced carpet. Giving every trim piece a thorough cleaning/ drowning in Armorall before fitting. Topped it all off with Brackets Velours.

... and bought batteries for my camera
