I dont usually fit the cams till the heads are in place, keeps all teh vlaves closed so u cant bend any while fitting the heads.

Blow out the oil things in block face.

Dowels in block face.

Just all the basics, make sure everything is exceptionally clean. no oil on the head gasket or any mating faces.
