    Hey,

A mate and I are going to start production on custom firbreglass bonnets and fenders and are looking to see how much you guys are willing to pay for them?

The idea is we will make stock bonnets for $300 and vent them to your design... I.E a large vent $50 small vent $25... and thus you can have what ever combination you want. 2 large, 4 small, and you get the idea

The same with the fenders maybe $200 stock pair and $50 a pair of vents.. or supply your own insert.

We are also going to start doing full one piece fronts...

We just finished molding my C2 front bar into a set of SLR vented fenders and it looks nice aye... We can sell this as an exact copy for $1500 or change the vents for abit more..

We are also willing to do Full resprays to Perth Zeds for about $1000. Dave (the painter) is a pro painter and its all done in a booth and that.. for the Perth crew coming to the mandurah cruise you'll see my zed, the front one piece and paint job then so see if you like it.)

Sorry about the poor pics ill have better ones soon

    no damage?

If you don't have any damage and its just a matter of sanding it back and respraying the outside then its $1000 (depending on what the paints cost as in if its 2-tone.. then its more obviously)

We have to crunch some numbers to make sure but thats pretty much a very close quote.

also if you want other custom parts, nose panel... rear fenders..side skirts we can make them too but we'll have to take a mold of your car or modify your existing so we can get a spot on match...

I do have a couple of rust spots which will probably need cutting out. I have a front bar on the way and nose panel, the paint is very unique so I'm guessing to match it wont be easy. Photos dont do it justice.

    Cheers,
    Dave.

we'll the best bet is if we meet with dave the painter and we have a good look at it and then we can work out some costs to paint, fit, repair... i don't know how much rust there is but you might just be able to get away with grinding it back, boggin it and covering it with primer..

    where is this painter based??

1000 is cheap for a respray.. i have some panel damage and want a full colour change.. so engine bay, door sills, etc

also just want a quote for the panel damage down the left if i leave the car black

    Armadale.
This is more for the love of it so its on the side to our normal jobs... I just resprayed mine but would never do it if it cost $4000, just a rip off... and we are going to specialize in zeds so makes it easier and more professional when you know what your doing... though my actual company we save a few $ on paints and stuff so yeah..

A full colour change does take alot more work as im sure you know... call dave on 0400 905 898 hes the painter if you'd like him to come out and have alook at your car for ya...

    2nd option

the other option is if you sand the car back with wet and dry yourself then we'll do it for the cost of the paint... + $200, sandings a piece of cake aye... just another way you can save money by doing it yourself.

dont quote me on it but hes done several 100 cars boats trailers and so on so maybe.. but we shouldnt have a hug issue with the colour we use a company thats pretty spot on... i've never seen a car with my midnight blue/purple (thought it came with the car as stock) and they had no issue with it.. actually came up better then before... friggen gorgeous

hahaha.. sanding is the bit I HATE

i enjoy laying the paint.. how about i give you a couple of hundred to sand it back

also, my car has a fair bit of panel damage down the left hand side.. looks like theyve scrubbed it up against a pole in jap land in a carpark or something.. will need to be quoted

hehe sure mate, we'll sand it for ya...

yeah the panels would be quoted.. did you want them repaired or lighted up by making replacements of fiberglass?

    as a thought

well front guards vented in fibre will be sweet,, but rear quarter panel? dont think so.. hehe.. its got a large shallow dent in it and will need beating, (about the size of a basket ball)

the left sill has a big dent in it.. but that will be covered up by side skirts..

and the front left fender has a deep crease in it on the arch

    clear as mud?

    ill take some pics tonight

even if he just does the panel beating.. im not confident i can do a good job there. lazyness will probably get the better of me

but yeah, we'll meet some time and have a look then we can work out way to fix it up. we are in armadale and i'm in bentley so dunno where you are.. or i'll be on the mandurah cruise and maybe dave.. if your gonna be ther
