lol... i have been away for a few days and return to the funniest thread of the year ... heaps of good analysis and the usual put downs of rational, logical analysis and sensible suggestions. am surprised that no-one has mentioned the unstated, potential sideline benefits of the proposed G/B .... minor things like the opportunity to pick up a few dollars on exchange rate variations, the middleman picking up savings on shipping costs by throwing in a few units in the order to sell separately as "stock" .. plus a few other possible fringe benefits. this will undoubtedly draw the crabs from the usual suspects ... but that is of no concern to me ... just refer back to the previous G/B from this supplier and distributor .. it is all there if you look closely enough.
Learn to read lloyd The barbs he will receive in response to his post from defenders of the faith don't concern him, ie he's Going to add his two cents in (as I did also) and to hell with everyone else. BB v Chili round 2012 let's get ready to rumbleeee.
I CAN read quite well, thanks(and I clearly understood exactly what was intended). My question still stands, if it doesn't concern the writer, why bother to post it in the first place(perhaps unused alphabets clogging up the keyboard)?:br:
thank you, Raheen .... as will be seen in his response to you, the sad, old defender of the indefensible, as is his transparent practice, continues to drag up any bit of irrelevant rubbish he can to divert attention from the real issue ... it simply confirms and underlines just how desperate he really is. you will of course recognise the points i raised as i drew largely on your excellent observations and analysis in that previous G/B thread. as for TwinZ and their seeking suggestions, the most obvious course of action would be to find a national distributor prepared to invest in the product and hold stocks in Australia ... this would be an improvement on the current set up where the total local shell out is a roll of OfficeWorks cling wrap, when available on special.
Unmm... So why hasn't TwinZ responded to any of our criticisms, suggestions, queries and opinions after asking for them? Where is UAS with their input?
My opinion Run it as a proper group buy. Someone here runs it and for doing this they get a discounted kit for the hassle. Deal direct with us and drop your prices!
They asked for opinions. We responded. Plenty of really good feedback they should respond to. It might be negative but it's not derogatory, it is a collective view of a certain market and needs to be addressed! Otherwise, don't ask to begin with!
I asked a perfectly simple, straight-forward question(without insult or slur). As usual, you respond with personal attacks and insults. This thread was an enquiry from TheTwinZ (Peru) and it made it all the way to this point without innuendo involving UAS in any manner(that is until YOU became involved). There's only ONE individual here with an agenda.
You started it CHILI. You must sit poised at the KB awaiting a post from Baz. My respectometer wanes.
I don't need to wait very long, there is ALWAYS an anti-UAS/JP slur inserted into any controversial thread contributed to by your "hero".
umm there is more than enough 'food for thought' for Twin Z here on how to structure his business transaction for Aussie customers, thats if he bothers with us at all, as many have pointed out the distance/minimum order makes it near on impossible to make it viable for Twin Z. In regards to the current For Sale by Business involving UAS and Twin Z (not labelled as a GB, as profit for the facilitator/organisers is forbidden if you read form rules about how GB are run) I dont believe anybody was under any mis understanding. Many ppl in this very thread have outlined why they didnt express and interest in this UAS sponsored transaction... appears to be a case of: what you see is what you get, it is what it is, no small print needed. possible outcomes 1. an Importer takes the risk and stocks the numbers needed to make a shipment viable (not likely due to small market/distance and outlay involved) 2. Anyone who wants Twin Z gets it from the US, and Twinz doesnt deal with Australia anymore 3. Twinz puts his faith in someone here to make them locally under licence and not rip him off. 4. Someone locally just makes copies sells non genuine body parts 5. Status quo continues
or another tried and true option, just place an order and it will be delivered by CARMATE. .... This is known as the "Romonski Solution".
You should cut up cardboard and paste on some paper mache to make a nice bumper, before copying someones elses work as AMS does... specially with other Z members buying into such an idea, why would any Z innovator want to put in his time and money to make new products anymore. What a shame to the Z community if these practices continue.
Thanks for the comments, guys!...Sorry for the late response. We will be discussing a few of your points with UAS to hopefully come back with a few updates. BTW, We just wanted to clarify that the products should be in the Australian lands 3 months after the pre-order period is over and not 1 year as some people is mentioning. We have been building stock to respond faster to the order.
