ok me n cleary installed last week. TTZ DONT have egr so its gotta be disabled. its friggin impossible to even see the thing so removing the thing is impossible i think without engine drop. i just pulled the EGR tube from old manifold and just bent it out of way, removed the controlling solenoid and blocked all the vac lines (good way to do this is screws and a bit of silicon), and then theres 2 tubes that go to the throttle bodies. these gotta be pulled out which requires a lot of downward force. once removed they can just be left hanging as egr system is all disconnected anyway. you then gotta block holes where these were. u can buy kits but we just cut metal sheets, drilled holes, then screwed them over the holes. we used the original gaskets. one side on mine had buggered gasket which made vac leak and big hissing noise so i mashed silicon into it... not really sure if that was best solution or how long it will last but so far so good... egr has been known to fail so i deleted it. u could also do what lowzx suggested and get someone to weld a bung in for you. i considered this but was unpatient and wanted headers on so just deleted it. hope this helps
forget what i said i have been driving since i fixed my vac leak and they r great!!! best way to get power in an NA
