Seeing as there has been a lot of interest in RHD headers again recently.......I just wanted to give everyone the 'heads up' regarding the TTZ special that is currently running!

    http://www.ttzed.com/products/produ...D=21&page=1&title=Exhaust & Headers&do=detail
(NB: the dyno graph showing in this link is from the Gen 1 header design! The Gen 2 design fitted to my car gained me 11RWKW on the road dyno tested by Joe Imbesi who fitted them for me! :zlove:)

TTZ have 9 sets IN STOCK READY FOR IMMEDIATE SHIPPING!
HPC can be arranged at extra cost (takes up to approx 2 weeks depending on how busy they are????)

Once these 9 sets are gone that will be the end of the 'stock clearance' special!

PRICE IS $490 GST INC!:eek::eek::eek:
    + delivery!

has anyone used these before and would know if they do need mods to be fitted...?

They should bolt straight up. The only problems that I have heard of with the TTZ headers are the bolt holes in the head flanges are a little small and may need massaging a little with a drill or die grinder. This was with a set from a couple of years ago, so may not be a problem still.

i'm interested, but I am still deciding between the UAS headers and the TTZ headers... anyone know if these can be modified to retain the EGR?

Shouldn't be too hard, just weld a bung in.

    Definitely Bolt Straight Up!

Yes I can confirm these are a direct fit!......as like I said I have these on my car! The driver's side header has been modified to clear the steering mechanism in RHD cars! :zlove:

As Chrispy said TTZ headers may be a 'tight fit'........ the Gen 2 design is definitely an improvement in overall quality & fit over the Gen 1 (as you would expect!).......but keep in mind these have been intentionally designed to be 'tight'!......last thing you want is an air leak!

I strongly suggest you have the headers fitted by someone with experience!......Joe Imbesi fitted mine here in Melbourne & for the VIC members he has fitted many sets of TTZ headers so I strongly recommend him!......plus experience means no unexpected issues = $$$ saving!........should cost no more than about $300 to have these fitted!

As with anything there are always 'tricks of the trade' to make the job of fitting them easier!.......may take a little 'persuasion' with a strategically placed crow bar to make them snap into place.......but with the new design there should be no need for any 'major' re-working of the flange holes?

    Nissan Gaskets!

Also forgot to mention TTZ can supply genuine NISSAN gaskets to go between the heads & the extractors at a pretty good price!........from memory around the $55 mark for both of them! ;)

    Even UAS type need modifying!

As Chrispy said you should be able to get a bung welded into place?
Don't quote me on this........but from what I have read the UAS version needs to be modified to fit anyway??........not exactly sure what's involved??......whether it's moving the EGR bung or the O2 bung??.......but either way it's an added expense regardless of which one you decide to go with?.......but at least at this price you can use the savings to put towards the modification cost! ;)

    Might not be that easy??

sorry to make your day even worse........but it may need a little more than just moving sensor bungs with some US header designs??

Don't quote me on this but from what I've been told by Simon at TTZ I think it's the collector on the driver's side header ( where the header joins to the front exhaust pipes) that actually fowls against the steering mechanism in a RHD car with some US designs!.........it's only a matter of mm so you may be able to get a 'depression' of some kind pushed into the wall of the collector in order to clear the steering arm???........but distorting the collector wall obviously has effects on exhaust gas flow! :(

Maybe see if you can get a refund or something??........if you explain they won't fit our RHD cars they may be sympathetic??? Good luck!

yeh i'm not sure whats involved with the mods needed to fit the UAS ones but i bought some a couple of weeks ago and when i called to see if they got my order form the bloke i spoke to (who seemed really busy and not willing to talk to me) sed that they needed cutting and welding to fit them (not sure what needs to get cut or anything, he wasnt much help) but i ended up cancelling my order becuase of that and also cause i'm looking to get a twin turbo engine. but the TTZ ones for sale here sound much better then the UAS ones, a lot else screwing around. hope that helps

    Sound and are :D

I got a quote to fit (after buying them from UAS for $590) for $2000 I'm guessing thats moding them to suit and fitting them etc, these ones are straight bolt ons already to suit our cars :D Great price

For $2k they just didn't want to do it.

Takes a day to do. Have a look in the tech section, there's a good write up on how to do it. For $2k sounds like they where going to pull the engine.

    Yeah

Yeah thats what I figured, cause for this one from TTZ estimated time to fit is 3 - 5 hours (based on if u know what ya doin or snap a bolt etc while takin the old ones off) I think I might get these.
