Something tells me that we won't get all this done between 1pm and whenever the beers start flowing (bout 1:02pm)

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

Yeah guys, it may be time to start being a little more "practical" as to which chores are able to be done to which Zeds. Just so some people are prepared get work done, and others to possibly miss out this round...

I'll be there from around 11am. All I need doing at the moment is to chuck her up on the hoist to re-gasket my front pipes.

SOMEONE didn't do it properly when I swapped them out last time... *glares at Cam*... *winks at Cam's mum*

We have huge shed if it rains

The first rain safe Tech day ever !!!!!!

Should it rain we have a huge shed 16m x 16m on our new place (just up the road) which we can work in as well as under house and in our original shed ... cement floor and all.
In fact we can use it even if the Suns shining.
We just need a generator for power in new shed and air compressor for air tools.

    Vinyl Anyone!?

Iv still got a LM or 2 left over of matte black vinyl. I can black out both roof bars for approximately 5 cars if anyone is interested. Iv done it for a few people now as well as carbon fibre and obviously my own car (stealth zed). The quality will be as good as your paintwork as all imperfections show through. I can do it for 80 a set so let me know :)

    Matt.

8am start...........I'll wait for Gavan to confirm, but I think there is waaaay too much needing doing on everyone's cars to leave it till after lunch, so 8am will be fine....(given we have had people starting to work on their cars at 5am the last 2 weekends, this will still be a sleep in ;)).....Gavan will be down there to welcome you all ;)

Ill be there earlyish probably around 9.30. I will put up my hand to do any electrical work that needs doing, So Baz your stereo and panel are sorted as is your turbo timer and panel Ash. Scotty your gauges and cig lighter should be easy enough as well. Ill bring the climate control solenoids for you as well pete just in case that is the issue with your heater.

CARZ, What you have on your list will take a full day on its own and will hog the hoist. It may be better to organise a dedicated tech day just for your car so there is no pressure and you will have more hands to help. There is nothing worse than trying to rush your car back together because the sun is going down.

no offence guys but the list of proposed jobs sounds more like a christmas wish list than a practical list of jobs for a tech day. I wont be attending because its a confilict of interest for the people who i do charge to work on their cars.

Gearbox R+R and clutch master cyl replacemnts are very time consuming as will be your exhaust manifold leak Murci. Its unlikely that you can fix that with the motor in situ

Just come and talk if that helps, we can strap your hands together with quick ties if that helps on the conflict of interest :)
