QLD Tech day at our place 8 Oct

For those who have some nagging problems and need some help and those who just love fixing those problems. Its on again,

We have a hoist, pool table, air for air tools and people bring data monitors etc. Bring your own chairs and beer. If you have some nibblies bring em too.

All are welcome. Plan to come out after lunch around 1-2pm.

Work on cars till night time, then have a sausage sizzle, a few beers and yarns around the fire.

If you have a special job like an plenum pull that takes a long time we ( Qld folks) can work that out as we have done in the past.

For those who don't know where our place is, its at Ormeau, mid way betwen Gold Coast and Brisbane.

 

Strong chance that I will be there! Wont have a zed but will be there for the get together and ahare my lack of wisdom none the less.

And to offer my expertise in fire lighting if required also.

 

We have huge piles of wood on the new block... you will be in heaven

 

And a few good stories to tell over a beer or three

For all the newer members, these events are a great opportunity to meet like minded zed lovers and learn heaps about working and fixing common problems on our cars. Many of us "long term owners" have done it all and have a vast combined knowledge of working on these cars.
So come on down, there may be little problems that you may not even be aware of.

Sounds like it should be a fun day. I will likely try to make it along, and will bring Lisa if she is not working. Sounds like a great opportunity to learn a little more about my beastie. I will confirm closer to the day.

 

I've got another Birthday celebration on that day so Im not sure of my exact plans as yet - hopefully can make it but wont be able to confirm until a few days prior

 

I'm sure in, looking forward to meeting some other members & perhaps solving some niggling mysteries.

 

Sounds like a great idea, i'd love to be there even if it is just to get some good idea's and learn about things and decent places to pick up parts etc . Can you let me know the details etc, and i'm sure i can rustle up some nibbly's , won't be drinking tho, gotta drive and i'm responsible and shyte like that :rofl:
