WA Spring\New Freeway\Highway Cruise

MERRRRR why am I always excluded from the fun?. Just because I haven?t had a zed for 2 years

Maybe I just stick a Z on the back and hope know one notices the Mazda symbol

I don't see why long term, original members should be excluded because their cars are either green, not running, or because they've moved on to something else. They're still zedders.

agreed, its a zedders cruise...........i think the reasoning we put "zeds only" is to insure that we dont get swamped by skylines / silvias/ etc etc .....existing zed owners and long term trusted members are cool....

 

Well, there's an easy non-discrimitory reason for that...
I don't know who has come before me. I have no idea.

The choices I see are:

Or, I could say - bring a z, and you're welcome.

In the first instance, you could get any number of cars, any number of people with any outlook on life. So the chances of getting burnout-performances would\could increase, plus the chances of having police trailing after us could also increase.

I know what I would prefer.

Most people will know what I mean. I'm not saying anyone should be able to come, I'm saying people like miksta, buzz1986 etc should be an exception. They're still active on the forum and they've been around for ages. So have I but I'm pretty sure most people don't know who I am lol. (I'm the Ginger one)

 

ARRRRGGGHHH!! Was about to post details for my cruise on the same weekend!! Have organised for us to finish at the Mundaring Hotel with the owner cordening off a section of the hotel and carpark just for us if I can get at least 20 cars (judging by the last cruise it shouldn't be hard ).

I suppose I will come to this one then

Yeah, but I won't hold it until after christmas as I am getting married in November and honeymooning into December, then you have christmas, new year and australia day.

Might squeeze it in a fortnight after your cruise as long as we can get enough interested people. The Mundaring Hotel has good food and a nice beer garden area. They have the BEST steak sandwich in WA to boot!!!

McDonalds!!!
Armadale to Serpentine
Serpentine to Serpentine Dam
Photo opportunity!!!
Serpentine Dam to Pinjarra
Pinjarra to Ravenswood
Ravenswood Pub
Then it's straight along Pinjarra Road to new Freeway (and home for most)

No need to pack food for a BBQ or anything.
