WA Spring\New Freeway\Highway Cruise

Ok, so it's official.

Sunday the 18th of October is the date for the next cruise.

Some of the route will be along the new Freeway extension - either on the way down or the way back.

For those that don't know, it is going to be Freeway from Safety Bay Road down to South Yunderup, which is 32 Km more than what it is now. From there it will be highway grade down to Lake Clifton (38 more Km).

Anyway, the cruise is on. Let me know if you're coming.

This is a Z cruise only. Be it 240, 260, 280, 300 (Z31), 300 (Z32), 350 or 370, come along.

Ok, so we will start at Cockburn train station at 1:00 PM. I'm considering a BBQ at one of the dams past Pinjarra, and then a wrap up at a pub in Mandurah.

Just remember that the new freeway is part of the fixed camera trial and will be the focus of police attention for quiet a while when it opens...

Word of warning... leaving at 1pm... bbq wont happen til like 3pm easy, leaving the bbq at 4:30pm back in perth 5:30-6pm there isnt much time for 2 major stops ie bbq and pub.

i reckon the bbq idea is a nice change, but might as well end at a pub or something similar for those that want to socialise further.....either that or make the bbq further into the cruise so that it is the last/second last stop.....

anyway im sure dave will let us know the final decision.........the sooner the better lol

depending on where the bbq stop is ,maybe loud'n'proud could put his bbq in the back of his ute again (as per first pss show) if there are no bbq's on site, and maybe even make it a charity sausage sizzle for those attending or something........just thinking out loud here....
