Well it happened after so much hard work... insurance assessor needs to check it out. It still hasn't sunk in I'm just speechless, was no phone reception and couldn't get the guys on the UHF. Front end is f@cked and the under tray plus random hoses were annihilated, wasn't even a hard corner almost a straight and then next thing i know the rear end comes around hard and I'm going straight into a ditch and up a hill sideways.
NOOOO i've been there and know the feeling, it really sucks... at least you're ok though, just remember cars can be replaced and hopefully it all works out ok..
My Brother Just had his S15 written off all it had was Front bumper passenger side front guard and passenger rear quarter got smashed in and that was a write off.
This sucks ass, hopefully insurance won't be assholes . Sorry to hear though man, at least you weren't hurt.
Sorry to hear bud! I can still hear the crunch and feel impact of a certain 'other' cruise accident! I can still remeber every last slow motion detail!
Make a list of what you need to fix it - I still got zed here for parts - help yourself! Get you goin again in no time
No it wasn't. I've seen the photos of where it happened, no indications to show losing control of the vehicle. All signs point to mechanical failure. Mike and I were off in the distance when this happened and couldn't hear on the UHF
ahh shattered, but mechanical failure on a next to nothing corner ? hmmm. hope you can fix her up airstyles.
Sorry to hear man, I hope it works out for you and it's not a write-off. Maybe your Zed is trying to tell you that it doesn't like competition? Since I bought Martin's wheels my Zed looks very similar to yours! (Scarily though, I had an accident last week too, though not in my Zed) Good luck... I hope it isn't too serious.
Yep only I ended up alone with no phone reception and no uhf contact and no idea where I was. Luckily some guy going past pulled over to see if I was alright and I walked to his house to use his home phone. List might be pretty long.. Exactly the road was almost straight and then suddenly i plough into the wall at what was almost a 90deg right angle. I dont even remember turning the rear end just overtook me if that makes sense all happened so fast just held on when i saw the front about to go down a ditch so my face didn't meet the steering wheel. I was lucky it didn't happen earlier on in the cruise, if speed was a factor I wouldn't have a front bar left it'd be pancaked flat.
I don't know what let go yet I haven't checked it was 6 hours or so before I got it back home. Everything is 20yr old stock nissan tho. Looking at it I'd say the camber arm snapped and the rear just....
