Or just purge it......lol I've made up a rat I put on my die grinder and I'll run that through the whole manifold. But yea I try to keep it to a minimum
This thread oozes win. Loving your work. Very well done. Definitely brushed with jealousy at the moment.
ok so i done a tad more to find out need more 2" bends Still plenty of room though. not sure what im going to do with heater hoses yet. will sort that once its finished Anyway material list for the manifold will be. ALL IN SHD 10 11x 1 1/2" 90 deg bends 4x 2" 90 deg bends about 600mm off 1 1/2" pipe about 300mm off 2" pipe 1x 2 1/2-2" reducer (not needed if collector made properly:bash 1x 2" flex 2x 3 bolt flanges 2x m/s flanges to suit vg30 1x flange turbo of choice 4h welding about 15-20h to fabricate for the 1 off. once jigged up should drop to about 7-10 hours 1x douchebag
looking good, better get your ass into gear if you are going to make the 29/9 deadline :br: (see coming events)...
yes i know gate should face line of flow but had no room. just need to send to get flanges faced now will be making another set if there are any takers. different design though
What will change with the design? And the intake side is a bit of a unknown still. Got a clever idea on that side of it?
heaps of room dont know what your winging about lol Will be more simmilar to this so the compressor piping will have even more room. drivers side will stay the same though. flex will be smaller in dia and will give heater hoses even more clearance.
You'll have very limited room for a large diameter inlet and dishcharge with the aircon compressor in. You're going to want a 3" inlet and at least a 2.5" discharge. Finish that silly 2J off and we'll talk in 5 months when you're done lol!
just the manifolds about $1300 from now on ill be using 40mm turbosmart gates. depends what turbo people want. was going to do a full kit using gtx3582 internal gate with 15psi actuator. including turbo, dump, intercooler & piping for about 3.5k all new turbo ect
