Yes the 555's they are bolt in and they are $1000. As I said earlier, they may be marginal at 20 PSI or above.
Unless it has been put on an engine dyno it's usally an educated guess. Depending on how tough the drive line is the more power will be lost but I find a conservetive figure for a stock zed drive line is around 80-100HP loss.
most people say its a 15% loss for rwd cars, 20% for an auto rwd car, and for a fwd car usually around 5-10%. I think AWD's are the worst, they are a loss of around 25% (going from what they said at a dyno day once) The guys also said something along the lines of the torque or power, drops off much quicker with an AWD but they make up for this on their launch.
800cc? Any chance of the 800cc sards as well? And also with this do they need new injector connectors as well ?
Talking to Minivan, Apprently Greenline have a deal on SARDS at the moment. rather than talk GB. Why dont we all just get our injectors direct. I will just do the GB on the Collars which are a stupid price !! Minivan, what is the Greenline deal?
sshhhh i dont want em to run out before i get mine.. haha.. nah they have plenty.. Caz told me about it actually.. thanks darl! 101 bucks each plus shipping.. getting a shipping quote at the moment

ok so let me get this right. 650cc are ready to be purchased? And we get them late june (supposably). Do we need to modify/update anythign else or just take out old injectors and slap these in straight fit? Im down for a buy. Let me know when payment can be made. I want these babies asap!
You could buy your 800's if you want them. They still fit into the collars. The SARD kit is and adpator two orings and two screws. I will supply them complete as per Sard. I am getting collar quotes today. Should be able to answer on price tomorrow. The SARD ones are like $70 each. The ones I get wont be anywhere close to this. Any other issues with sards will be easily fixed. I suggest you all order them Now and get into the queue. I will have collars in a few weeks.
guys ive been reading up on TTnet (after seeing the comment on greenlines website) it seems the sard injectors need the 94+ fuel rail to fit these things anyone have an answer?
I had read this also... I assumed it meant that the sard injectors are a direct swop for 94+ zeds, but the collars are needed to fit to eariler models. if there is any doubt, maybe sard could send one set to Graham first to make sure that this is the case.
dont stress.. i have had both greenline and JP confirm they will fit early fuel rails anyone know whats the go with the high impedance? will we need to add resistors or something, what are the stock ones?? high or low impedance
I also thought they were only for 94+ models as with the PE kit. You have to machine your lower plenum for the PE kit also. If the stock injectors are high impedance, to run low impedance, you need to re-tune the ECU or do some other mod I believe and they generate heaps more current. I am not sure if just slapping in a resistor will allow them to operate at their peak, I doubt it would. I think you can do the vice versa though. If you just slapped them in, and our ECU is tuned to run high impedance injectors you will either burn out the injectors, or kill all of the transistors in your ECU. Low impedance injectors can flow more than double the rate of high impedance injectors.
just read that stock are high impedance and nearly all aftermarket ECU's allow you to run either high or low. I guess this is another reason for the hard core modder to go to an aftermarket ECU if they are serious about a fuel system.
Sard injectors are high impedance. You dont have to do anything to the stock ECU to run them! Fuel maps will have to be changed.
I have tried the one SARD collar and they fit straight in the rail. No prbs. Collar quote, Set of 6 $120 including Orings and screws. The genuine one cost me $90 landed las week. OK who wants them? has anyone got a SARD injector? I will test the impedance of the coil with my bridge and compare with the stock one. that will answer the impedance question. Method Paul, Are the injectors in the PE kit Sard ?
