the final day of "missing matt" .. all a bit funny really.. ,, after 3 weeks of stories, excuses, lies and so on .. i rocked up, unannounced, to the second house this a.m., all dressed up in my "keza" black forum polo shirt .. all official like, fired up, expecting problems and with a pile of photocopies and pics in hand .. knock on the door and all hell breaks loose with dogs barking decibels .. thought that i was going to be devoured by rotties, alsatians and the like .. the dogs turn out to be a couple of tiny yappers ..lol..!!! matt dillon appears ( yep, checked his licence and that IS his name...!!) .. poor bugger cannot help himself and starts a whole new line of stories .. have to ask him to cut all the crap, let him know how pissed off we are, let him know that this is it and give him his very limited options ... he was not too keen on the idea of a police visit, a visit by the court baliff, nor a call from centrelink to check out his sideline earnings .. but i think the clincher was my suggestion that tom had a few "heavy" mates over here and they were itching to see how strong his front door was .. and as he lives with his granny, she might like that approach either ... lol...!!! so marvellous matt offers to do an internet transfer of a refund .. ho, bloody, ho, says baz .. this sounds more of the same .... so i jump on this, suggesting that as he has the funds in the bank right now, why don't we head right off to an ATM and relieve it of a lovely $700 .. !!! .. oh yes, says a locked in matt ..what a good idea .. i jump into his very old falcon so that he cannot disappear into traffic .. off to the ATM, and i have 14 x $50 notes in my hand .. without even signing a receipt ... whooot .... so there you go cliff .. diplomacy with just a little gentle persuasion ... QED .. just another good zed day on the gold coast ... lol..
