Made my own Nigel, 3" one piece, bought the flanges and the pipe, mig welder, oxy accetaline a hammer and your in business, been on for six years now.
those dumps look very similar to what i made, great minds think alike I mounted my O2 sensors on teh underneath though as i found there was better access
Everything I've read about installation of O2's suggests that you shouldn't mount them on the bottom of pipes to avoid buildup of condensation. Something to be mindful of.
yeah but they are still mounted on a vertical pipe, not completely underneath if you know what i mean. alot of manufacturers have them mounted in this fashion.
Finished off the engine Today, welded up the Dump with a hole in it, rebandaged it, bolted it on, fitted up a few hoses, rechecked the timing, and she was good to put back in. Dont get a day off for nine days now, might take a sickie to get more done. Engine going back in Sitting on the engine mounts waiting for labour.
Grandfather Ron will put a lot of the younger drivers to shame when he is the fastest road zed at the DAT NATS. With more power now to seal the deal. To rub it in, owner builder title to. Well done iin advance for being the second fastest zed at the NATS.
looks great mate, surprised you got it all done as fast as you have, especially with this being the busy season at the ports, i definatley need to sit passanger in this!
Yeah, Should have had it up and running by now Zac, but as you know work keeps getting in the way. reserved a shottie for you.
Hey, Thanks for the vote of confidence, but i can put enough pressure on myself. I learnt long ago nothing is a done deal, and although i'll be giving it a red hot go, i'm not selling the talents of ports, JT, Wykked etc short by any means. Besides iv'e got to get it going first.
Great progress Ron. I see you don't treat her with the as much finesse anymore *notes bonnet on top of roof* .
