Good to hear your looking at quality ones then but agree with Rob about avoiding the 50mm unless your going for 'that look' of course.

I'm not a fan of the rays (or the copy's), they're all the same 7 sided design so I don't see them offering any sort of protection or deterrent as it's so easy for anyone to have one of the removal keys. The coloured ones are also meant to fade quite easily.

Kic's are pretty nice just pricey but definitely seem like quality. I ended up buying the mcgard splinedrive kit, steel, good theft deterant & decent prices (via amazon).
There's actually a bit to consider for lug nuts, good luck!

    Busy day

Finally got around today to fixing my non opening, sagging glovebox!

Removed the old glovebox and switched the skin with a new one , happy to say it all works brilliantly and actually closes flush to the dash now ;P

Also trial fitted my front rims today and after seeing my massive brake clearance with Rdisks I think I can afford to go a disk down and step up the lip to a 67mm or 80mm unless the pending brembos are larger then what I have now?!

    Anyway pictures

As you can see plenty of room, tires are en route also
Just hoping there isn't too much "tire to guard" room
Or possible lowering Is inbound lol.

Also a lug nut shot to that I like

    Those wheels look great.
I like the blue nut finish with decal. Go for it.
Zeddy looks very fine indeed. :)

Wheels need more lip at front or I need more massive breaks :p

And the doors go up for ease when working on the car, tempted to put them up for sale and go back to normal doors

    Sell the door hinges...hell no.
Thats what makes zeddy stand out.
Otherwise you'll be like all the other highly dressed black zeds :)

    Thanks beast,

I will have to weigh them to give you an exact figure but from when I had them off last time (new gas struts) I think they were 8kg a side ?

    Gotta dress appropriately ;p

    245/40/18
    285/35/18 sumo's

(I was going with Pirelli all round but I thought I should go cheaper for first fitment just to make sure I don't have issues, I would hate to destroy $600 tires in 1000k)

    Only 8.5" rims

Plus my offset wouldn't like it lol.

Looking at going to 9.5's in future and maybe 10's on rear but I have other things to do first ;p
    245 is plenty

About time. Looks heaps better. Perfect wheel specs though I can't believe you didn't post a side on shot or a shot from further back!!

These look a lot less racer than I thought they would. Look very classy and clean.
