i had the same problem after a bit of looking around and opening a few things i saw that the screws for the lock itself had unscrewed themselves (i'm guessing from the subs) check that see if that helps... it helped me now mine pops right up
Easy fix >>> try first .... ... loosen off the latch hook (behind trim panel - behind centre panel). Gently tap the hook down a few mil & retighten. Test & if necessary repeat until hatch releases ok.
Every now and again my wipers will go off when i start the car and no i havn't left them on or used them the last time i'd driven it, i might just be starting the car a few times in the garrage and all of a sudden the wipers will go of when the key turns to on/acc any ideas
My vents have started not working properly... ...sometimes when I turn on the ac or just the fan, one of the doors in the ventilation is not opening and I cant get any air even though I can hear the fan running . And because its only intermittent, Im too slack to actually get in there and fix it. My other gripe is this bloody pinging problem. Ive blown up the engine for leaks, checked the timing and tps, checked the neutral switch... Im sure it will turn out to be something simple grrrr
Irratic Idol when I take it out of gear above 60 km/hr If I am just coasting with the stick out of gear The idol will go to 1000 odd then stutter then eventually the stutters build up to a stall. I can always do a rolling start, but you lose power steering/braking etc. and I find it annoying cause I know it shouldn't happen, futhermore at or below 60 it idols fine... I got nothin
Mines the passenger seat belt. Some electrical gremlin... ..causes it to lock in the fully retracted position and it will not budge. Not all the time, but often enough. When it happens my wife gets into the back and belts up back there. Lucky its a 2+2. Off we go, and after a few minutes the belt says, "OK, I give in you can use me now", and it releases and rolls out as nice as you please. I stop the car, Caz gets back into the front and we are off again just like a normal car. Weird.... Barry :zlove:
Agree! You hit the button for one wipe, and you get two! Second one over a dry screen! Gives a whole new meaning to "scratchy"!
Problems doing that You'll wear your brakes out much quicker (if you have to use them) and braking performance is reduced. Not good in emergency situations. Also, if you do it because it may save more fuel, the saving is negligible compared to a zed on no or little load. And your zed will stay cooler if you doing cruise in neutral as well as more air/water goes through the system higher in the rpm than in neutral :zlove:
Check your neutral switch is working ...-------> Neutral Switch location and wiring diagram and diagnostic All from service manual!
