Looking very nice Stu. $200 for that chroming and plating is very good. I still think Baron got the best deal ever. I paid $250 to get half of that stuff done.

    Disaster Averted !!

I was working on putting the steering rack back in today and I glanced over at one of the wires which ive tagged all of, (ive stripped the engine loom back). the writing was GONE.. I nearly shit my pants there and then.

Turns out even though its all under cover the sun has been slowly fading the ink away from all my writing on the tags I made for the wires. I quickly rewrote them all in something that wouldnt fade. A few more days and I would have an engine bay full of blank tags !!!

    *breathes a sigh of relief*

Decided to pull off the Lower Plenum to have a look at the DET Sensor and found the reason for my faults. hmm both ends of the DET Sensor loom with nothing plugged in. LOL

    Progress Update

Been really busy recently so havent had much time to do anything but I got a good crack at it today.

Ive match ported my plenums, they came up really well. Powder coated the Cam Covers, tidied up some of the wiring by removing superfluous plugs, Fitted up the Cam Sprockets and most of the 100k Kit. Also made a new DET Sensor Loom as the other one was stuffed.

    Few Pics

The blue powdercoat looks good with the polished metal. Looks really good Stu. Can't wait to see the finished result.

What are your plans for the throttle and timing belt covers?

No timing Covers, no way i would cover up the sprockets now :)

installed the upper plenum yet, i thought that with sard injectors needed some type of countersinking 2 fit

They are countersunk on one side. Where the runners would normally hit... Yes I have tested the Plenum it fits No Probs

lol oh yeah... would be a shame to cover up all that bling...

but seeing as the plenum is polished and you've cleaned up the throttle linkages etc, why not see what it looks like without the cable cover? or is the throttle cable something that needs to be covered?
