So with my other background I studied Graphic Design, and fell in love with what we call Vector Illustrations. I found a skill in producing photo realistic images using this technique, one which is quite envolved. It will be to hard to explain all this on here, so if want to read up on "photo realistic vector images" so you know what the heck I'm talking about by all means google it! ;)

But simply put these are one off, hand built images that can be infinitely scaled and never lose its quality. I like to say they end up being 20 times better (quality wise) than a photo. Vector illustrations don't use pixels to crest an image like a photo, they use 1's and 0's (analog vs digital).

Where is all going you ask? Well, I thought what I can do is ask those how want there pride and joy illustrated and have a piece by piece hand built illustration framed and on the wall. Then I will kindly do so for a donation to the kitty of only $100. Too much you say? Well believe me, for the amount of work envolved in this is crazy, and many cant do these to the level of detail like I do... Except if your Yukio Miyamoto > http://www.bekkoame.ne.jp/~yukio-m/intro/index.html my idol!!!

Anyway, If I have to prove my work ill post up an illustration I did for a guy in New York a couple years ago tomorrow sometime. Unfortunately I didn't pay rent on my website so I can't show you easily anymore :(

So let me know if your interested? It'll be a unique piece to have rather just a photo. I will have to T up with those in direct viewing of the bank account to let me know who has paid before I commence work....

    Thanks everyone

P.s it's late, I'm tired, and I typed this on my phone, so please don't hate if its hard to read ;)

    Proposed Sydney Cruise

For anyone not in the facebook group this is what I have in mind for the Sydney cruise. Starts at Blues Point (right on the Harbour on the North Side of the Bridge) then heading South to Bulli via the Princes Hwy, through Thirroul and then North the to Royal National Park via the Sea Cliff bridge. Lunch at Bonnie Vale picnic area in the Nasho (has free BBQ's and carpark etc) and then head our separate ways.

    Comments/Suggestions welcome.

    http://maps.google.com.au/maps?sadd...TNA&mra=dme&mrsp=0&sz=15&via=1,2,3,5&t=m&z=10

I don't think I'd set a minimum participation $$ but could collect donations at either end, plus fundraising via BBQ (even though I'm vego!). Downside is there would be a couple of tolls involved (bridge toll and $11 national park toll) -I'm happy to pay the park fee as it's an awesome drive and great location for photos etc, but would anyone be put off by it?

Yes this is what I mean! ;) pretty nice hey!

Abe I could illustrate your car but if I was to do a full body person that would take months! -_-

I've been meaning to do one of my own for ages lol so ill get that done a show n tell. In the mean time later ill post up this spider I did for that guy, and also a motor bike. I actually don't have many cars illustrated atm, I did do some but they where in the beginning, so not my best work ;)

Bonnie Vale can get pretty packed, but it shouldn't be an issue once school goes back :)

Depends on the date, but if I don't have work I'll 110% be there

    As promised....

This is the engine in the bike above

If you want this style I will charge less based on the fact there is less work involved.

And this is an Illustration I did for Christopher Conte of New York, A master Sculpture artist in the style of Steam punk. Check out his work.....

So these are Jpeg files because PhotoBucket wont allow PDF's....So they are made up of pixels now -_- But when it come to print...They are knife edge perfect at any scale!

And yes these are all hand built from scratch....no lame photoshopping!

Completely agree, even my girlfriend who has never met Eric or his family who I told what happened wants to donate $5 (she has been unemployed and looking for work for the past months since the move) and setting a minimum would not only I think get less money due to people not being able to afford the minimum hence not putting in any at all.... would get less turn out and less response so could damage it more than help, the people that have more money I think will naturally give more so no min (or just a low one) with no set upper limit is the best idea generally.
