Cant tell from the pic but I have now personally seen 3 different standards of Goodridge lines. Z1 being the best so far but until I see them in my hands and test them up against the car Im not going to give them the nod..

Im starting to think its worth the extra $150 for Maltech lines and the piece of mind that comes with them

So what should I do Graham? Sell them on ebay? Is it possible to get some mounts made up to hold the front lines in place? The mounts in the picture chrispy posted up looks like they'll still allow the line to move.

it seems to be dramas with goodridge, the g/b they did in the u.k on them went belly up when most of the batch had a totally wrong end on them

These ones look correct. The rear one looks the right length and the ferrules for the front are in place. They look fine.

The ones Sandeep had for the rear where about 2 times longer than they needed to be and the fronts didnt have any of the required support ferrules down its length. But where the right length.

I think the Z1 ones will be fine and from what I can see from the pics the Coz ones look similar.

    Send them back !!

Those supports are fixed to the pipe and are supposed to allow only one portion of the pipe to flex.

The screw clip arrangement Chrispy used isnt good enough IMO. In fact there is NO way these would be road worthy. Defect city I expect.

I've pm'd rob260 so hopefully we can sort something out. I still want those rebuilt calipers put on so I'll be back at your factory soon Graham.

Answers on way.... I bought a set of these two but obviously not concerned with stopping the car at the moment so they are still in the box. I've asked for them to be installed on the car with pics etc available for those who participated in the GB. Will post more info when it is available.

hot300zx, I am seeing what I can do price wise, usually $368.00. Hoping I can get low $300's by buying bulk.

    heads up

guys , stop playing around with brake lines, ( its way to dangerous ) if you are going to do the job then get some adr approved ones from Caz or coz ,,

i just think this brake line thing is getting out of hand , and could become a little dangerous if one wants to let go...

and no support brackets , and all that shit ,, can you imagine the rubbing , the actual line does when turning ..

yes you can make something up to fit ,,, but is it worth your car , just for a stupid 100 bill extra you have to pay to get some good ones ..

come on guys smarten up its you brakes your talking about ....

the last thing i want to see is someone brakes let go because of these goodridge brakeshit lines ....

just my 2 sen ,,, but think about it ..................................................

are the brake lines from ConceptZ or Z1 or the Maltech's from Caz adr approved? do they have the tags on them with the date and standard that they were manufactured to?
