    + turbos=:)
Progress is a little slow, I dont have an engine crane or stand atm. Check the bottom turbo pipe.

I really like your engine bay, very sexy without being too over the top! I'm impressed, and that's hard to do! lol

ah i see, you had dressed up the bay before but now you are doing a rebuild and turbo's.

SO you got as far as taking the pelnum off, that is quite a bit of work in itself. what power level are you aiming for if you are swaying towards stock internals?

Have you pulled the motor before? how are you going to do it?

    Removing

the engine is easy enough, but that?s not how the rebuild/turbo plan started, that was because off a misfire on piston 1, which I thought was an electrical wiring problem, but turned out to be the injector instead, that?s why the plenum is off. I started thinking rebuild as soon as I spotted that oily mess in the turbo pipe in the pic.
From there I have spoken to cpz coz, about the gt600r kit,
there appears to be a fitment problem, which I think is actuator related, I've asked coz if that is in fact the case, and if so, could I have the smaller hks actuators fitted before shipping, he's on the case.
I already have 555?s uas manifolds, TTz smic, nismo regulator, and new stock fuel pump to go with the turbos.

To get the 500 hp I was originally after, was going to cost
a lot more than I wanted to spend, so for now 400 atw's moderately safely is what I?m after, maybe I?ll spend a little more on forged pistons, but that?s about it.

yeah i was going ot go pistons and keep the stock rods, but then with 4340 H beam rods coming in at 800 bucks i cant pass that up

Love that top pic, looks awesome!

I thought these came as a kit ie with small cannister actuators already fitted?

    Thanks rob

The guys on tt net say the mounts have to be ground, to fit the kit. Coz will possibly speak to the guys at Z1, and come back with an answer, but there is an issue, and I want to know exactly what it is before I buy.

Pretty common to have to grind the mount. I had to on the drivers side with my pe1420 kit.

    Aggree its

common enough Itd. Can anyone say the actuators in the pic are the hks small barrel type, they do look similar?

    Similar but!

My HKS actuators have a straight actuator rod not bent like the one in the picture.
It is hard to tell from the picture but the one on the right appears to have a second vac fitting whereas my ones only have a single one.

    GT600R kit and fitment

Hey Geoff, mate I didn't think of this earlier but I originally bought a GT600R kit for my car from Coz (before buying the GT675RS kit and have since chaged turbos again.........). Never got as far as test fitting or anything before I sold it to forum Danny/mr0300 http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/member.php?u=5498. I don't know if he has it fitted yet but he can probably give you some better info about the actuators... don't think he's on the forum much so best bet send an email via his profile.
