I was down there today with the 350, and my brothers 180sx, saw a silver 300 in there not sure who's it was though i've seen it at one of the dinners.

 

She's mine, Scott... Though you'd likely not have seen her at a dinner - unless you're thinking 2 or more years ago...

The Zed's there so Ed can get her running properly (or at least that's the theory, anyway). He's had the Zed for nearly 2 weeks, though, and hasn't even started looking at it... ... ... :bash: :nono: :bash:

 

I seen Ed with a Zed, and i had to look after the aftermath. He isnt very wise with the Zed.

 

Not to bad mouth their work ethic lol, but that doesnt suprise me lil baz, my brother had an airflow problem that took them 2 weeks to figure out on his 180, cost him over 2grand.

They wanted to charge me 2.5 to replace the waterpump and timing belt kit back when i had an overheating issue in my 300. I got it done by our family mechanic for just under 800 inclusing parts.. lol

Either way!! Dyno day YAY!!

P.s When i was there with my brother the other day i asked if they knew anything about the dyno day, they have nothing in the books so assuming they are awaiting word still from Ian.

 

It's in the book, I saw Ed write it in.

 

Weird, maybe he has he's own book? The one on the front desk with all the bookings for repairs and what not had nudda.

Is the start time still at 10 am? How long do you think it will go for as I might have to work on that Saturday.

 

I have yet to confirm the start time. I was going to talk to them today but got stuck at work.

I guess it will take about 15 minutes per car (most of the time getting on the rollers, connecting up and getting off the rollers). So 10 cars would be 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

When would you need to start/finish work? We might be able to schedule your dyno slot to suit.

 

I haven't been expecting as high a figure as previously as the Godfather has not seemed to have as much power since a plenum pull, all coolant hose replacement and100,000 service done a few months ago. However, recently while flushing the coolant galleries I found the clamp on the air duct to the RH throttle body was loose.

I should get time to get the car back on the road this weekend and will be very happy if this is the cause and power is back to normal (fingers crossed). Also, idle has been low and erratic particularly on a cold motor since the plenum pull.
