have a talk with 'sandeep' he is having the same problems and he may have figured them out http://www.motorswaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=30
dont know dude.... from what I saw on your youtube vid, I think your O2's are dying... If the car is fully warmed up, and you're holding the revs at 2-3000rpm, then they should be moving much faster than that..... and they should also swing more from side. ie, cover more of the gauge..... Those sensors look a little sluggish to me and may explain your poor economy. Cheers
its worth a try. they might be due for a replacement. contact caz as she has some did you manage to read that link i posted? i think you should get new o2s and if that fails follow that link
I think i may have found the problem with my fuel economy when my car was on a hoist today. What do you think?
Ive got an na Fresh rebuild New exhaust (inc cats and o2`s) Pod, chip+tune, about eveything else I get 14.5l/100kms, which is about 360-400kms before it is on Empty. Currently it is tuned to 12:1 afr, that was for immediatly after the rebuild, i want to get it tuned for closer to 14:1 afr later on.
ahhh so it is, sorry, i couldnt get past all that crap that was over your cats and thought they were stuffed...yeah cut sensor isnt good then lol
not o2 sensors.... those sensors in your cats are not oxygen sensors. They are CAT temp sensors. They do not affect economy and most zeds with aftermarket CATS have them disconnected permanantly. The oxygen sensors are in your exhaust, much closer to the engine. Cheers
If you look at your extractors on each side, you should have a sensor in there thats connected to a plug. You could mabey see it from the top of the engine bay if you look down at the sides of the engine. The sensor will be at the bottom facing up into the extractors with the wire comming up around the extractors.
