i finish work at 4.30 down in cheltenham, i may be about to get out of work early but will be heading down either way cause i fixed the clutch problems today! farken mad shit lol

Guy's, I could be interested in bringing the Soarer down for a run ? I've never ran before myself either like some, but have always wanted to. I may be zed-less but the love is still there !!! I work in the city & live in Sunbury, so I pass the Calder each day, I hope to maybe join if I can get there at a decent time either to watch or hit the strip.

forecast says late shower for friday.

if there's even a hint of rain, i'm not going. it'll end up like last time, long periods of doing nothing waiting for the track to dry and when you do finally run it's still damp = shitty 60' times.

i cant go even tho i got my car fixed, i got smacked in the eye and basketball last night and my eye is the size of a golf ball and i cant open it! soooo gay! i have a mate which has 225/18 inch semi's ad 330/18 inch full slicks unsure of profile if anyone interested pm me. hes only got 2 of each

well this was a bit of a fail. we showed up around 4:30PM, not exactly late but apparently some arrived much earlier and they were already full for the night.

no more were allowed in for racing and everyone got diverted into the parking lot and can spectate. parking lot was still empty when we got there so guess we just missed out. when we left the parking lot was full with a massive queue waiting to get in along the freeway. those guys would be pretty pissed off too they went all this way and can't race.

what's worse that on the way, 15 mins from calder i did a quick gear change and heard a big bang. shat myself for a moment thinking i broke something major, couldn't get into 2nd or 4th so i limped the rest of the way in 5th. calmed down and seeing the shifter sat way too low, i figured it must be the support and the bang was the shifter hitting the prop shaft.

kind took the edge off the fact that we couldn't race. had they allowed us in i wouldn't have been able to race anyway and would be forced to watch instead. no thanks.

so we all went for some food instead. luckily a member near my home had the part i need and thanks guys for helping me out with the tow as well as getting the car fixed up. you know who you are

meh even on the flatbed the zed got plenty of looks. 1 guy even said hey look that ferrari broke down.

 

yeah pretty annoying that they said on the website that the gates open at 5pm but then they go and let everyone in at 3pm... the weather was pretty much perfect so we may have seen some good times... also they really should think about running these events more than once a month during the warmer months

 

well i loved the food , who wanted to go there?? good choice ..

well next time i guess, we will just have to wait now ,, ( thank god cause i had no slicks ) either way i think we had a good night last night , so all good..
