    +1 for Classic Performance, mate.
    Ashley knows his stuff :p
I'd just get him to organise it all for you too, not much point in buying it yourself as he gets them for the same price anyway :p

I have NIStune questions as well.
I currently have a Z1 socketed ECU. It's programmed for Dual Intake (basically doubling the original MAF signal data). I have a Z1 Dual Intake with Dual MAF's. The second MAF's signal is going to my Apexi NEO and then the Apexi NEO is set for 2 inputs and Average.
Now here comes my question. Since the addition of NIStune will basically negate the need to retain the NEO, I will need to send the second MAF's signal to the ECU somehow.
How do I go about doing this during the process of installing NIStune?

As the Z1 chip is for a dual intake with a MAF reading half the intake, the NEO sounds like it is intercepting this signal and averaging it with the second MAF and outputs the signal to the ECU, it is still outputting a signal of half the airflow all be it a little bit more stable and accurate and Z1 chip is still doubling to get the desired result.

You could download a BIN file from the Z1 chip and load it on to the NISTune board and continue the same way.

Or if you want to uninstall the NEO and just run a single MAF

Or if you want to remove the NEO and still run 2 MAF's install a Selin.

I have a single MAF dual intake its not bad but I think it could benefit from a Selin Translator.

Thanks for the correction. The NEO was already integrated (connected) to the Z1 ECU at the time both were introduced to the zed at the same time along with a DoolZ intake (with a dummy MAF). I later removed the dummy MAF and and installed a second operational one when I upgraded to a Z1 Dual (JWT style) intake.

I'd like to remove the NEO completely from the equation (uninstall) and still run my dual intake.
What did others do before Jim Selin came along? I'm not really improving my MAF signal input data accuracy much by removing the NEO and installing a Selin translator. At least it doesn't seem to be the prudent way to go about it.
Is there no facility for NIStune to see two separate MAF signals (wires) without a Selin Translator?

Where are you trying to go, please just say.

    Lightning MAF ?

    I'm afraid I don't understand the questions.
    What's a lightning MAF?
Is there no way to have two MAF signals going to a NIStune ECU without the aid of Selin Translator or AFC?

doesnt matter what ECU, theres only one MAF wire on the loom and the whole ecu only works reading one value.

Nistune still only reads one signal, from either one bank (thus halving or doubling the value or whatever), or alternatively if you use the Selin or Neo, so they do the air flow value correction, and the corrected value goes to the Nistune and remains as is. Benefit of this would be if you decide to remove the dual intake, you wont have to touch nistune, just unplug the Selin translator.

As far as I know, theyre youre options. Apart from running no afm using the apexi gear.

If im wrong, and you can somehow run two seperate signals to the ECU, someone please inform. Ive never heard of this, and dont know what benefit there would be. Probably none.

So no, the ECU can only read one signal. Either by halving the value on nistune, or using the translator or afc to do that beforehand.
