Sorry all been a bit sick......

    But all getting better slowly.
As to the Golf, go for it...whomever wants to organize it. The only outline I had was to have a BBQ at the Holiday Park on the Saturday night. As previously stated it will be BYO everything and cook your own. I think this is easiest and if people want to delegate cooks on the night and share bowls of salad and nibblies, that would be splendid. Of course BYO alcohol, but remember those driving home (not staying at the park) and the people running the park, we don't want the local bluey's being called in or upset.
The show and shine I had planned to hold at about midday on the Sunday, so we can BBQ whilst the cars are being looked over/judged, we can organize judges on the Sat night. I will organize some sort of prizes/trophies.
I thought the Sunday was easier as most will have settled in and as previously said, the holiday park have allowed us to have it there.
We can have public come along to have a look, and I plan to contact the local newspaper to put a bit in to advertise the fact we will be in town so the general public can come and have a look see.
As to T-Shirts and caps, if someone would like to organize this too, go for it.
The only other major plans I had was to go to the Japanese gardens on the Sat and have lunch there maybe!
A round of golf would be fun for the Saturday morning (only because people may want to clean cars Sunday morning), and I'm up for that but not too early.
Any other suggestions or people wanting to organize other things, go for it. Just be civil and sort it out between you, like adults :p

will there be an organised cruise ....????

.. and saturday morning looks better for the golf, .. i will proceed on that basis ... after checking with the club as saturday is usually a members comp day ...

    I hadn't planned on a cruise

But as I say, it is up to the people who are attending for the weekend.
I don't know the area well enough to ensure a cruise would be on fully sealed roads (as I know how much some of you HATE dirt).
By all means though go ahead and organize one if you wish.
If the golf could be for the Saturday, that would be excellent, a great way to stretch the legs after a long drive........

IF, and given the weekend, this is a big IF, IF there is no motorsport on at Bathurst on the Easter weekend (the BIMF festival has been moved to February), a cruise to Bathurst and a lap or 2 of Mt Panorama could be the go .... Cowra is about 107km from Bathurst so this would need to allow 3-4 hours for a there and back trip with a break.

I can't research the road/drive/region from Melbourne, but I'm willing to lead the way. Might be able to do a bit of research on the Friday.

All Z32's lined up on the grid spots :D :D :D.

Nice idea, Mikey. Even at the normal speed limit which applies, it would be worth doing. The laps of PI during the recent NDSOC Nationals certainly gave me a new perspective on that track.

I do know the roads Mikey

    So does Chili.
We have both travelled these roads numerous times over the years.
    ALL roads are sealed.
You may need to contact Bathurst City Council for info about a photo shoot, as the track is normally a public road, so there is likely to be other uses.
A nice stop off would be Blayney or the Wind Farm near Crookwell for some photo's.
There all sorts of options available, including a cruise to Grenfell or Young & back.
If you need a recce, just say so, I'm only 2 hours from Cowra.
    Cheers

Booked into the Cowra Motor Inn as well

    Hi,

My partner and I are booked into a ground floor unit at the Motor Inn as well. If can we get a few more staying there we may be able to book it out as well. See you all there.

    Cheers

    MIKE/DOUG/KEZA .. let's have a cruise .. an essential

for a big get together like this .....!!!! .. :zlove: :zlove:

.. and one more suggestion ... a wrap-up dinner on the sunday night for farewells and "show 'n shine" prize presentation .. ??? .. the final dinner at coona really was a brilliant wrap up of the week-end zed fest ...

    I'd have to agree Baz

    The Coona Dinner was exceptional.
And the group photo with all the participants in their Coona Shirts looked great.
A fitting end to a weekend Zed Fest. :D

A cruise is essential. This one would have to be after the BBQ on Saturday... after the golp, too! But I wanna see/drive Bathurst, even at 60k's!

doug .. the golp is a moveable feast .. and certainly

second to the cruise .... cruise rules ...!!!

.. for example, golp could slip back to sunday morning (7-9:30am would be enough for 9 holes) leaving plenty of time for show and shine preparation with this event listed for lunch time sunday ....

.. in any case, i have some doubts as to whether we could get on the course on a saturday morning (usually members comp time).

.... and golp/bbq/cruise in one day might be a bit too packed ..??

just a couple of thoughts ... hopefully to assist .....

Sunday a.m.! I don't think this will exist for many... especially after Saturday night. I guess it depends on how keen the golpers are, and what sort of comp they have at Cowra on Saturday. On the other hand, probably most will be recovering on Saturday morning from the drive on Friday. Why don't we wait until dinner on Friday night and see how ppl feel about this?
But, whatever, I AM GOING TO DO Bathurst sometime over the weekend!!!!!!!! To be so close and not take the opportunity would be almost sacreligious.

100% agreed Douggie - I'll be there at some point.
If you haven't driven across the top of Mt Panorama before, its quite eye-opening as to how much commitment is required from the drivers to take it at racing speeds.

sunday golp not a prob ... we did an early sunday am

tee-off at both coona and warwick .. perhaps in a somewhat shaky condition .. but it is really only a fun bash so no great issue to play with an "under the weather" handicap ..lol...!!!! ...

,, and yep, to do bathurst would be magic ...... totally necessary ... :zlove:

    Great idea.

As per usual, i probably won't join in on the golping, but a Bathurst cruiZe will be something to tell my mates about for sure *yeah, well i've done the bathurst curcuit so nuur!* lmao. If we organised around this I think many people will back it for sure.

Just remember it's two way traffic, don't want to go flying down the mountain and meet someone flying up the mountain.

    Oh of course!

Although i'd never speed anyway Ron. ;)
Maybe we can arrange a lap into the course of the major CruiZe during the weekend. Would be a waste if we didn't - especially being that close to it. (for us Qld folk anyways)
