A small number of photos taken on my wifes digital camera.

Please leave me a message or comment if you wish a photo to be removed.

Keiko and I enjoyed meeting the people we did and the cruise was a first for me. We both really enjoyed it, next time we'll be more organised and stay the night.

The following photos are taken from the morning meeting until ~4pm. They kind of capture they days events...

There were people with much better cameras than ours and I'm looking forward to seeing some of the images others caught over the weekend.
    Thank you,
    Donovan

    Hey Wilco,

I believe there were 37 cars in the first photo shoot. But there may have been people that didn't turn up, so around 40 would be my guess??

There were people there with cameras much better than ours, I can't wait to see the photos other members have taken over the weekend.

Sorry, I think it was actually 27 for the cruise on Saturday which would put the total number of cars in the 30s? I'll leave it for someone in the know to confirm the exact numbers.

See you at the next one Wilo. Donovan

    I'm back home again :( ..
What a brilliant weekend that was! After hiccups with my 200k service last week I wasn't sure my baby would be back together in time to take to Cowra but after an all nighter Thursday night I finally finished her at 4am Friday. A couple of hours sleep and off we all went, thankfully my Zed had no 'post service' problems and despite being dirty/undetailed I had an absolute ball with her all weekend :zlove: :zlove:
My apologies to the Queensland crew for my absence and the lack of hospitality when they arrived at my place Thursday   , I had hoped to have my car finished well before then.
It was lovely to catch up with old friends, meet some new ones, see the amazing work some of you have done to your Zeds and just kick back and enjoy everything.
My only complaint is the weekend is just too short :( :( , they go way too quickly and I never get enough time with everyone.

Can't wait to see everyones pictures...I didnt take any

    Caz.. :)

<sigh> Home again. Matty took a few of us through a great stretch of road to avoid the revenue-raisers on the way back through lithgow, but yes, like Caz didn't bring the camera and am eagerly awaiting some pics of the the, ummm,,,,less serious and zed orientated activities.

    Fan-bloody-tastic!

Just arrived back home in Sydney (from Cowra) at 3:15pm today.
Traffic was horrendous from the Blue Mountains to Penrith.

Huge thanks to everyone who attended the Cowra festivities.:bow2::bow2:

Lynn and I had a terrific time, and it was great to finally put faces to many of the people we "meet" on this forum, and of course it was wonderful to renew old acquaintances.
Once again, thanks to the usual selfless generosity of several members(something which always seems to be part of these gatherings) we left this shindig wealthier than when we arrived.:zlove:

There wasn't one sour note in the entire weekend(except that it ended too quickly).

P.S. Everything that has been said about BB is absolutely correct(but in spite of that he is still bloody good value). ON YA! Barry.:biggrin: :p:eek:

Next one can't come soon enough.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

    Bad news Baz

I'm Sorry to be the one to tell you this, but your PSA, The yellow one, is being unfaithful to you behind your back, it was caught in a rather compromising situation with a well known forum member who shall remain nameless, in the car park while your back was turned.
Hope this information doesn't put a damper on the rest of your trip with said PSA and you can work your difficulties out.

  20. KEZA

    KEZA Zed Fiend

    3 from 3 ain't bad

Cowra Zed Fest was the third such event & another roaring success. :zlove:
Diana & I arrived on the Thursday but didn't get the chance to meet any of the early arrivals (RZM, Jack & Doug).
Friday we took a leisurely drive up to Bathurst to do a bit of sight seeing & take in some practise on Mt Panorama. And who should we meet up with, none other than IB fron the ACT.
We didn't get to see the early Vic arrivals again, but did manage to park next to them, only to be told later, that they had a telephoto lens trained on our every move. :D (Good one Dougie)
Friday the Zed crew began to arrive & when we returned from Bathurst several had just pulled in to the Holiday Park.
A quick poll was taken & we decided to invade a local Chinese restaurant, were a great time was had & we even managed to introduce Black Baz to a better drop of Chardy, instead of that cheap stuff that he usually scoffs. :D
Saturday we all meet for a briefing of the days events & a cruise to Wyangla Dam, Woodstock, the Japanese Gardens & a few Wineries.
This was followed by a Round Table meeting & a B-B-Q that was well attended.
Sunday was "GOLF DAY" for those adventure seekers that could still manage to climb out of bed at an ungodly hour so that we could leave by 6:15 for the 30k drive to Canowindra Golf Course.
A great time was had by all on the golf course & a close tussle for the State Title ended up with NSW the WINNERS :bow2: over the QLD Cane Toads  with the VIC's not even bothering to field a team.
From there it was a rush to arrive back in time for the "Show & Shine" where there were several extra Zeds that appeared from out of nowhere.
In total we ended up with 32 Zeds for the weekends events, even though a few departed early. Silly boys, missing out on all that fun, but I'm sure they won't do that again after reading all the posts of the wonderful weekend had by all.
It was great to catch up with so many people that we haven't seen for so long (Mr Zee,Ozz,CBZX & others). Also meeting new members & people that we only knew of by their forum name.
Diana & I would like to thank one & all for a most enjoyable weekend & we look forward to Zed Fest 2010.
Oh!!! and Benny, you still can't have my rims mate.:p
    Cheers
    Kerry & Diana
    :zlove:
