Well I haven't had a gutter in a long time..

Mind you I do remmebr years ago going for a hike some where with some drunk mates... stopping to play in a playground we found... went downt he side.. landed in the sand.. was so good i fell asleep.. mates left me.. got lost walking home 3 hours later.. locked outside.. slept under my car..

then when i went back the next day to show them what happened i went down the slide and landed on a wasp..

was a bullshit weekend aye haha

send K-zed a pm......we just booked an apartment which holds 6 and I think there is one left, but it is all under Rob's name, so you have to run it past him first.....a few more rooms will probably come available now as I know that some of the ones who had booked rooms are now going to come and bunk in with us.........i am sure if you bring a sleeping bag and a pillow, you will get floor space somewhere......

Nationals dinner vs 300ZX bbq ...

I note that there are a lot of negative comments about previous Nats dinners, and largely, and unfortunately, I have to agree.

However, this is the closing function for the event, and I personally would not be in favour of this forum organizing a bbq to compete with the dinner. Proceed by all means if you want to, but count me out as I will be attending the dinner, be it good, bad, boring or whatever.

I am reminded of a conversation some time ago where the comment was made that the early Z owners don't seem to want to include Z32 owners as part of the whole Z owning fraternity. This will never improve if we as a group continue to isolate ourselves from them. This event is a Nissan Datsun event, not a Z32 event, and I think we should support that.

As such, I reckon Wykked Pete's idea of a bbq on Friday evening sounds great. Not sure when I could fit a cruise in, nor am I sure I would want to - after all it will be a 3200km round trip - enough of a cruise for me! Perhaps those not competing at Morgan park on the Sunday can organise a cruise for themselves to consume some of the time while we're on track (but make sure the cruise includes checking out the track action). Maybe, possibly, a bbq lunch at the track??????

 

I agree totally Mike. Karl, Greg and I will work toward an integration of our events around the host club agenda. :zlove:

NB: BBQ's for our group will no doubt be a nightly event. A cruiZe WILL definately be on the agenda for those not participating in other events.

 

I heard there's a possible drag event on as well. How can I go about hitting that up?
