as the title states ive got 1.5 k looking to get as much out of the zed as possible just wondering what i sounds do. Ebay front mount kit? or get bigger sides? blow off valves... call me a kid or not but i love the sound of them. Series 2 PTU (the one i have is fine but just incase?) i dont know lol, im stuck.... its either this, or a buy myself a new drum kit lul Regards - Chris
No, i was thinking coilovers maybe interior i dont know really to be honest... just wanna brain storm
brakes and suspension would be a good start, what good is power mods if you cant use it lol,or are you a dyno queen ???????? if you go coilovers, your budget has vanished
you donate the funds to me and you get the satisfaction of helping someone other than that suspension or just general maintenance of your car, plenum pull change hoses , clean injectors etc.
what about some new coil packs? and a s2 ptu, then why your at it get your injectors cleaned or try a carbon clean ^_^, maintenance first!!
If you want reliable, decent power an electronic boost controller, an ECU flash + tune and a FMIC will see you spend roughly that much and should put you at a street usable 250RWKW or so. Bigger brakes are really only needed on the track or if you like bling. The stocks are great for single emergency brakes, probably better than anything short of a $4000+ kit designed for the 300ZX. Suspension upgrades are nice, but if your stock ones are still in good condition you don't have to go that way first.
Ive got the turbo smart dual stage boost controller. so front mount it is anyone got any experience with the ebay ones? i have a 53mm radiator if that helps http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FMIC-Interco...3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66:2|65:1|39:1|240:1318 there the ones im talking about.
used a 600x350x80 justjap cooler, on a 300kw+ skyline with no drama's, they are pretty much the same hybrid copies as any ebay cooler made in china ^_^, so i couldnt see any reason why you would have drama's fitment was ok, but needed to make own mounting points
If you haven't done all the maintenance stuff, thats where I'd start. 100k service, S2 PTU, etc. Have you upgraded your exhaust? I think its a good place to start because you get a better looking, better sounding, better performing car Suspension is a good way to go if you are after better handling rather than more power, but like others have mentioned, there goes your $1.5k (and probably more) pretty quick. Same deal for the exhaust upgrade. Good luck!
True, you don't have to. But in all honestly it's one of the best mods you can do. I've got a mildly modded TT. Road dynoed 210-220rwkw at about 12psi (never been on a real one) and I've got Tein coilovers. The powers nice and all, but I like the way it goes around corners more.
