I am amazed it took as long as it did for you to get defected with the ride height you had. In fact i can vaguley remember saying that to you a few years ago.

haha, as of sunday, the zed will be engine-less

ok late update, but its here haha.
removed the guard, bonnet, front bar and head lights.

also recieved a few parts for the build..
- AMS racing radiator 57mm





mmmm brass fittings.


- nismo 1.3 bar racing radiator cap


- boss kit, with cruise control


- Nismo neuspeed oil filter


- Cusco oil catch can


- show polished fuel filter + braided lines

so headlights came out and i was left with this.



then removed the rad.





good thing these came out, the rad had seen better days and the bottom hose was only recently replaced so wasnt too bad.

so looked into the plenum and what do i see? a pool of oil, what the hell?






ripped the heater hoses off. also slicing from my nail to the first joint.. FFF (dont look if you hate gore)




so i went wrecking for a few parts today!
found the intercooler piping i needed..



this will be fun to get them in... or NOT.



removed the AC condencer. will be needing a TT one soon.


spare parts collected..


power steering res, removed.


and finally got started and finished the EGR delete on the new engine..
started here -


ended with nothing -


removed all the shit.

i wish i had of seen it earlier nigel, thanks for the link. although i already cut and re welded my bottom mounts to fit the new rad.

well,

got started getting to putting the TT into the zed now, past the point of no return so here we go.

removed the exhaust, restrictive as, and new one wont have EGR holes.
someone take the lot $50 including cats lol (one muffler needs tip welded on)





also had a few mates around (one of which - ryan - wanted a WRX exhaust (that was modified) on his RX) so we used the oxy, heated it up and bent the flange so it would fit haha.



fun times.
