AFARCC (www.allfours.org.au) held a track day at Barbagallo Raceway, Wanneroo today. Eval_zed, Risk, RedZ and me participated. I can't speak for the rest, but I certainly had fun. was a top day!! glad ive finally done Barbagallo Raceway!! damn am i sun burnt though 4 zeds to a track day was a damn good turnout! ::Risk::
Im trying to find out when the next Collie day is! As I think non-regulars that don't have memberships to car clubs, CAMS licenses etc this will be the most cost effective and hastle free way of getting on the track! ...not to mention being able to take passengers!

300z's at wannerz Yeah was a topz day had a lot of fun, in my stock as 300zx got a few werid noise's today but HELL i had fun...

Not too bad got 6th overall in Pro Open Class. Haven't raced for over 5 months due to injuries (broke my back a few years ago, still gives some grief when riding) Won a bit of CA$H so all good. Pulled up very sore today
What's with WA Hard to get zeds out in Sydney with much bigger population. Maybe they are all busy working hard to support the rest of the country. Joking. Lot of older and cheaper cars out over there at that day. Although I saw a nice R33 GTR out with carbon bonnet. How did yougo against that one? Hey Franz do you get over here much as the slot car is not coming over there and come for a spin. We are doing more work on it this week and getting better all the time so when you finally come over should be really thumping. PS I just sent Ben from HPI some specs and times and might make there way over to Martin Donnan to educate him a bit about his fallacy that zeds are laggy pigs that don't go.
Its weird JP... ...its like seasons or something. The AFARCC track day has been in the pipelines for a few months and most people know that AFARCC's track days are always good value and fun! There were a couple of GTR's out there... because it was a "driver training" day there was no official timing. I know though that I didn't get passed all day and at some stages when waiting for the GTR's to catch up it wasn't long before they weren't in my rear view mirror anymore That GTR and me incidentally are very well matched, over autokhanas we're always within a second of each other and have both run 12.7 down the quarter. Next time I'm in Sydney is in 6 weeks; I'll be heading over for the Snowy Mountains Cruise and will be around the following week and weekend after. Fingers crossed that some track over there is open and you're available as Im dying to see the slot car running!
