Hate to tell you this but this is exactly the sort of things we do at the tech days... The CTSensor is $48 from TTZED.com, we could have saved you all the rest and had it done in about 20 minutes... Anyway, next prob you have, post it here and see if someone could help you do it yourself... That particular job is quite easy with a bevy of zed fiends and a workshop manual...
Hate to tell you this Thanks zed4life Would love to get to a tech day one day but they are always on weekends.I work every weekend so to pay a staff member to cover me would cost more than the mechanic.I also did not know what the problem was as the symptoms could have been caused by any number of things.Hence take it to a mechanic Cheers voodoo
Hate to tell you this... Not a prob mate and wasn't being a smartarse ... was just letting you know that there's a great support network on this forum. PS: There's even a few of us sorry souls who are obsessed enough to be happy to help a fellow zedder out during the week/after hours... Just keep us in mind.! Cheers:thumbsup:
thanx voodoo... ... for the info... heres a question, do u notice that ur fuel economy has gotten better since the new sensor was fitted? its just that im getting very bad milage, out of full tank i get 300kms tops and thats passive driving, when i give it a boot i can almost see the needle drop before my eyes. im trying to link the hesitation when cold to the fuel disapearing problem, but it maybe something else. P.S. i realy need this vic tech day, lots of questions
