No doubt most of you going to Coona have received an email from K-zed about a zed fest shirt. He suggested we start a thread to get a consensus on what colour the shirt sould be and the colours of the design at the bottom of this post. Basically the general agreement is a black polo but colours for the design are still in limbo. In K-zed's email a comment was made of red for the Zed and Silver writting or vice versa. Myself personally I don't think that red stitching stands out that well on black. The shirt will also have a tubing around the sleeves and colar so I think the writing should be the same colour and the Zed logo a different colour or the other way around. Anyway, that's my two cents. K-zed needs input for a prefered colour scheme and he needs it sooner than later, please show your support.
my preference would be for red printing and a silver zed ... otherwise COONA will be over-run with those damn red zeds ... !!!.. but seriously, at the end of the day, i will wear either>>!!!!:thumbsup::wacko::wacko:
I vote for a grey shirt, black lettering and red car....>> I have far too many black shirts, and white always gets dirty on me, so grey is a good compromise.
Ok.... so how do i order one of these shirts ??? My vote is for Black with a Red zed or black with silver writing
Polo shirt final choice & details ... ... have been posted on forum by Lou HERE.. For the final selection of colours/style etc., I took all replies to my EOI email into consideration and came up with the BLACK shirt, in racing trim, to satisfy 90% of respondents wishes. [The racing trim range includes mid-blue, red, white, grass-green, and gold. No NAVY... no GREY.] The problem with offering even a 2 colour shirt choice was the cost of embroidery. i.e. one shirt colour = one embroidery colour(s) selection. Also, only the BLACK shirt has bold collar/sleeve trim - which looks stunning! See pic >>>HERE. After much deliberation (& samples from CANDU), the final embroidery colours have been selected to suit a BLACK background, without predjudice toward any particular Zed paint colour. As you'll see in the pic below: Coona~ in yellow/gold symbolises the LAND, red lettering matches collar trim, and silver car stands out nicely for such fine embroidery. Bear in mind that actual colours will be far more vibrant than depicted here >>>
Just a small question, are you trying to pacify the Indigenous population by using the Aboriginal Flag colours (given where we are staying at Easter)????:LOL::LOL:
no orange ......... nor apples, either, come to think of it ..!!!!!!!:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::wacko::wacko:
