Time to put perosnal feelings aside and defend the zed against crap and slander Nissan Silvia at it again
It is a Silvia forum for crying out loud It is a Silvia forum for crying out loud, of course they are going to trash the 300zx... and personally thank god for that ... the number of P-Platters with "attitude" I see driving Silvia, I thank god every day that they did not choose a zed. Look at the original Nissan marketing and pricing of the products; Silvia are an entry spec "sport car" intended all along for the young driver market (even look at the new S15 that is available here, it is a early 20 drivers car), the 300zx was intended for the US sportcar market (which is more highway cruiser) in Australia they were intented for more mature driver (like the Monaro market of today), the GTR is the family sadan race car. Let them bag the zed... because the average S13 drive I see cruising the streets; welll they are the ones that do attract the police. Long live the Silvia (or short lived as it may be). .... P.s. I use god with a little g because I am using god as an expression, and not refering to the Big G. ... okay, kool with that Big G. :thumbsup:
true I dont see many 300 owners bashing other cars to the extent that silvia owners do. I like to think we are a much more mature group of people. Like you say though, there is a definite up-side for them to bash the 300zx :thumbsup:
After all, the 180 was always the dubbed 'The Litlle Zed':LOL: Silvia's are definitely for the wannabe's who can't afford power and prestige. I like what one post said on that forum, "180s easier, 300zx is classier", I rest my case:zlove:
Saw that thread just decided to let it go - you will always see people bashing things they cant afford to make themselves feel better about what they can afford. A lot of the comments are correct anway - zeds are more difficult to work on, there are 2 of everything... (Have to disagree with the bloated barge/bad handling/ugliest car nissan ever made comments though)

Even though the original post is almost 12months old (Sep '04) it's good to see that there are some class supporters flying the Zed flag high. Shifter, Mafized, Jamesz007, and even the old reliable Blade83 chipping in there. My response is so predictable, I won't even state it!!!!!
And then there's the 2nd response ... WHAT THE!!?? If a 180SX is more of a pure sports car than a 300ZX then perhaps I'm more of a chick magnet than Brad Pitt ........ come and get Angeline, Jennifer, whoever :LOL::LOL::LOL:.
HaHa I love the dude who said "like a giant twin turbo door wedge". Thats gold! I actually thought that thread was quite fair, much more open minded than the skyline vs zed threads on the skyline forums.
