Been to see Mark at Zed4life twise now to get my '89 two seater feeling good. The man is a wizard with Zeds and the car is running really well. Had a clever immobiliser fitted, some service works, cooling system, electrical and other maintenence. Excellent. Highly recommended.

And yes, we did check the oil ...?

I totally agree, took my car down to fit an alarm the other day and it took him no time at all.He also did some maintenence and told me alot of infomation on how to do small jobs on the zed to make her run better. Mark knows what he is talking about.
    Very helpful, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I keep paying him not to......>>

Not that there is much point since next to no-one seems to want me to do any work. Maybe charging Bourbon for my services is just too much? or maybe no-one wants to travel down to Frankston?

    Your price sounds too cheap

Minimum fee should be at least a carton of bourbon for your services.

a fine acknowledgement, rob, and one well deserved, WYKKED, ..

just a thought, but "johnny come latelys", such as myself, really have little idea of the history of the forum, it's conception, gestation, birth, development, the founding zedders. the early days and so on ....

i know that it probably would be a pain in the bum for those involved, but it really would be great if someone was able to throw together a potted history to give relative newbies some appreciation of the real work/fun/problems that went into getting this tremendous resource operational .... pleeeeezzzee ...????

black baz .. appreciating the vision of our founders..

    BigCol That's what she said...

'tis a story that I wish everyone could hear in person...

It's one thing to read it here (and I'm sure someone will be able to put it together better than I ever could), but it is another thing completely to hear (and see) it directly from Ben & Pete. I was lucky enough to be part of a small group to hear the story from them over dinner at Casa Wykked a little while ago, and it's something I'll remember for a long, long time to come.

Ben, Pete and all the early members should be extremely proud of what they have created for us here.
