Been to see Mark at Zed4life twise now to get my '89 two seater feeling good. The man is a wizard with Zeds and the car is running really well. Had a clever immobiliser fitted, some service works, cooling system, electrical and other maintenence. Excellent. Highly recommended. And yes, we did check the oil ...?
Zed4life I totally agree, took my car down to fit an alarm the other day and it took him no time at all.He also did some maintenence and told me alot of infomation on how to do small jobs on the zed to make her run better. Mark knows what he is talking about. Very helpful, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
yep ... we QLD'ERS are certainly spoiled little brats with the zedxpertise we have access to ...!!!:thumbsup:
I keep paying him not to......>> Not that there is much point since next to no-one seems to want me to do any work. Maybe charging Bourbon for my services is just too much? or maybe no-one wants to travel down to Frankston?
if you are offering your services WYKKED ill take u up on that offer... im saving up for a UD pulley i read ur tech atricle but thats way to complicated for me. so when i get the pulley id love some help installing it. bourbon or money will be payed
The ORIGINAL Guru..... Peter, aka WYKKED, is the ORIGINAL Guru & one of the founders of aus300zx! Don't forget he also has a day job yet still finds countless hours to MODERATE this Forum and offer sound advice. A long suffering BLONDIE also co-hosts Tech days ... Tech Days no Victorian Zedder should miss! Good onya mate
a fine acknowledgement, rob, and one well deserved, WYKKED, .. just a thought, but "johnny come latelys", such as myself, really have little idea of the history of the forum, it's conception, gestation, birth, development, the founding zedders. the early days and so on .... i know that it probably would be a pain in the bum for those involved, but it really would be great if someone was able to throw together a potted history to give relative newbies some appreciation of the real work/fun/problems that went into getting this tremendous resource operational .... pleeeeezzzee ...???? black baz .. appreciating the vision of our founders..:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
'tis a story that I wish everyone could hear in person... It's one thing to read it here (and I'm sure someone will be able to put it together better than I ever could), but it is another thing completely to hear (and see) it directly from Ben & Pete. I was lucky enough to be part of a small group to hear the story from them over dinner at Casa Wykked a little while ago, and it's something I'll remember for a long, long time to come. Ben, Pete and all the early members should be extremely proud of what they have created for us here.
many thanks col .. maybe i will just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope to be lucky at coona-brandy-bang ..!!:thumbsup:
QLDers and victorians have themselves sorted out but what about us poor New South Welshman i would love for someone with a huge amount of expertise service my car and maybe educate my in-experienced mind about the wonderful world of the Z engine. might have to do a day trip to brizzie:thumbsup: keep up the good work
NSW'ers have immensely knowledgeable people like Chili, IB and many others... You just need to ask them...
