boys, girls and misc a friend of mine is painting a zed on one of them traffic signal boxes. she is half finished at the moment. what do you guys think of it so far? comments?
Call me a wanker if you like, but I thought any form of graffiti was illegal. To associate this forum with an illegal activity is unacceptable to me.
If you want to stay a member of this forum, I suggest you rethink any ideas about putting this forum address anywhere without express permission from the Administrator.
Dr Dinkles... Looking good Dink, but 2 questions for you. Obviously she has permission to do the painting. 1. Why is the car red with Dink number plates when your car is black? Not that i'm racist. Just curious 2. Why does it look like the front bar has been in an accident, almost like when your brakes gave way and you ran up the ass of Eminem ??? Fate...
not mind it.. the L/H side mirror might need a little attention IMO i wouldn't class and hour or 2 painting something graffiti aye, its 1 think to run around with a spray can when no ones looking and another to sit there with an brush for a few hours... but mate just clarify... do you have permission to do the paint...?
How about you ask the Mods if they are comfortable with illegal graffiti bearing the forum address? Don't you think that's bringing this forum into disrepute. If members had to seek approval to use the forum name on a T-shirt, why do you think it isn't needed in this instance?
This from of public artwork is quite common - it is usually commissioned by the local council or government and serves to stop people from grafittiing things. I think its great to see a zed featured in a public mural. It looks terrific!
i agree with u fully and do not condone any illegal stuff on the forum or the name being connected with anything illegal.. but i also agree with harty in the sense that.. easy up aye, more then likely its perfectly legal..
I highly doubt that it's illegal. There's an 11 year old girl near me that has painted a dozen or so of these boxes and got into the paper with everyone saying how good she is... Anyway who would go to the trouble of painting one of these while constantly looking over their shoulder looking for the police?? I'm sure that it is commisioned artwork. Anyway looks tops!! :zlove:
Looks great! To stop (well, reduce) the amount of grafitti and posters stuck on traffic signal boxes, Brisbane City Council allows local artists to paint them. I presume this is one of them. its not a pic of my car. i have a stock tt front bar its a zed! there's always something wrong with a zed .. like yours, mine, the purple pommy princess, etc mike's ass has been everywhere. someone ought to get him a pimp
thanks for the link mr g. i was gonna post it last night to clear up the legality/graffiti issues but the forum was going as slow as fate's zed it's going to be in sunnybank
definitely looks pretty cool. is there something wrong, or is it unfinished with the front bar. the lower sides, its as if something is missing. or is it just me? keen to see pics of it when its finished and on the traffic signal box cheers Jay
