My car is gone, crashed it this afternoon. I am fairly certain it is written off. Had a 4wd change lanes while i was next to it. Spun me off the road side ways into a tree. Thank fully I was not hurt at all, which amazes me causes the car looks bent in every posible way. Jamie

Yeah it was a young girl driving and her mum They stopped got there details, it is just really disappionting.
Thats tragic, all that work... You had one of the nicest and most unique zeds on the forum with your one-off body kit. It's the 4WDs fault so hopefully you're all covered. Glad you're Ok tho.

I would like to get another one, but It is going to be hard to replace it. that just just about had every thing it need. It was lower, custom extracter, intake, bodykit, paint, and all the rest of the stuff I have done to it. But i guess everything might be a bit of a step down. Jamie

Glad nobody was hurt... ...shame about your Z. Keep in mind if they are insured and admit liabilty no problems. (and changing lanes and running you off the road shouldn't present problems) That it's not like an accident you caused and you have more rights... often if you cause an accident or the other bloke has no money or insurance they can force you to take much less for a writeoff. But if they're insured you don't have to take their offer of market value if they reckon it's not worth repairing. Get all your recipts together and claim for everything. Fresh paintjob bodykit the lot... and if yoy get a real good price from them in the end tell em you want your stereo and speakers and any anything else you desire from the wreck. Some cheap TT's around. $15K would get you a real good one. Good luck, Egg

What a bastard Mate, all I am worried about is that you are not hurt. Any car can be replaced !! Start making a mod list and be preapred to go into battle with the insurance company. They will play hard ball with any payout on a modded car.
This is why SUV's need to be banned, or some kind of special test to drive them. This happens to me about once a week, I'm driving along, minding my own business, and some jacked-up SUV tries to drive over the top of me. The coppers spend all their time worrying about some cars that might be slightly too low, not worrying about these tanks that go terrorising the roads down here. And then you nail it to get past them, or jam on the anchors and hit the horn, and they look at you as if you're doing the wrong thing. Ugh. [END RANT]

Yeah, those things are ridiculous and those big bull bars are perfectly okay despite what damage they continue to do in carparks and god forbid to pedestrians whereas little things like bonnet pins can warrant a defect. Ha! Sorry to hear about the accident Although its again testimount to the safety of a zed in a crash. If the 4WD had hit a smaller car or a motorcycle/scooter, she would have most likely killed the other person or caused critical injury. But to the 4WD drivers way of thinking, its all good because they stay safer in accidents :angry::angry::angry::angry: Hope she at least loses her licence and receives a permanent stain on her record.
