    CORRECT!

My personal reference about fluids is in other sections and relates directly to those sections - there is nothing about fluids and bonnets in the same section.

i.e.. If you have oil dripping everywhere out of your oil pan, you can be defected for that - it has nothing to do with bonnet vents

I haven't been defected with my rear facing vents as yet and don't expect to

consider then I have physically seen and touched a vehicle in late 2014 that was defected for "rear facing vents" and failed its pits inspection due to said vents and the fact of fluids etc being able to obscure vision in the case of engine failure.

Now I am not going to say it is infact a correct interpretation of the laws but it is being used and upheld. I have also seen a vehicle in the last 8 months that was engineered, certified and registered in WA with a huge rear facing scoop - Its not that the laws exist or not its that certain local authorities are enforcing supposed regulations whether they exist or not.

Believe me or not I dont care in the end but I do know what I have seen with my own eyes.
