Z1 Coolant temp sensor adapter [CLOSED]

i have emailed them about the size and it only comes in a 25mm id. they have made this based on the stock rad pipe as it reduces to a 25mm~~ in the middle where this has been designed to go...

aftermarket and other top rad hoses (not stock) are not specifically made as the same design as stock ones. so if it doesnt reduce in size in the middle like the stock one to 25mm then it obviously aint going to go on perfectly. an alternative for this i have seen sold with many adaptors are a piece cut out of a ruber hose shoved onto the end of the adaptor so it makes the id size larger.....i have seen this sold with the davis craig adaptor i had bought...i still have these rubbers so i will probably use this setup untill i buy a new stock rad hose...

if you have an aftermarket hose or interested in purchasing one either measure it in the middle to see if it reduces in size to roughly 25mm or ask the shop/person you are purchasing the hose from....

i will email z1 for you guys and ask if the samco or the z1 branded hoses reduce in size this way....although i highly doubt it...but ill let you know what they say...

also with the stock na hose i totally forgot it is different to a tt hose, so if someone has one lieing around can you check if it reduces in size in the middle like the tt one does. ???? ill still email z1 about this aswelll....

 

chad ... i have an N/A .. so my being "in" will be

dependent on these fitting the N/A rad hose .... will also need to confirm "NPT" or "BSPT" .....

OK Chad, now that's clear - the unit has a 35mm OD, so count me in .
When are you likely to be placing the order? Gotta work out which gauge I'll be getting so I know whether to specify NPT or BSPT thread.
