    ...well.....

.....I believe that to be an error:) The EDFC was around before the Mono Flex;) Also I have confirmation from several of my suppliers that the list I posted is correct. That UK thing confuses me also:confused:

    ...further to that...

......I have just read the Tein UK site, and the wording can be a bit ambiguous. What they should have said is the Mono and the Comfort being relatively new systems ARE NOT compatibale with the OLD EDFC.:)

......The way they have written it, makes it look as though the only systems compatible with the new EDFC are the Mono and the Comfort, which is totally incorrect.

    ......But good you raised it:biggrin:

What are the seetings of the super drift coilovers?

IE spring and levels of dampener adjustment...

also a could I get a price with and without EDFC?

Thanks mate, been keen on coilovers for a long time, but want to get the right set...

Also is there anyone around Perth that has a set of coilovers in their car that can let me ride shotgun for a bit? I have some in the 86 and they're great, but a bit savage...

    ...I am.....

....waiting for confirmation back that the Super Drift Dampers are compatible with the Zed. Not sure on that one:confused:

    ,,Super Drift....

....are not made for the Zed, I have been informed;) . It is suggested that the best Dampers for the Zed are the Tein Type Flex.:)

I am very interested in this, its just a matter of doing the saving game, I am afraid that the Christmas period is not a good time for me to buy car bits :(

Id say that by Late Jan/early Feb Ill have the funds together

    ...Tein Flex - Illegal....

.....yes folks, I have today had this confirmed by Japan and the local Australian Importers of the Tein products, that the Tein Type Flex Dampers are only for off-road use, and illegal if fitted to street cars. :( I will therefore be removing them from my sales list. The Super Street dampers are still OK, and will be compatible with the EDFC. I will also be supplying the other Tein legal products, HKS, KYB, Ksport etc.,;) I thank UncleDave for asking me to clarify this. :zlove: I also believe that this product is being discontinued:) It is a pity that my suppliers did not make this clear.:(

If I wanted it purely for off street use could I still get it?

Not keen on the super streets, especially the aussie version with the lower spring and dampening rates!

Coilovers are for comfort they are for functionality...

    .........Yes...........

..........I can still get some for you, but I would have to get a statement from you that they are to be used only for Off Road, to cover my rear-end legally;) I just will not be promoting them as I have been:cool:

    you serious?

Thats pretty full on, is that like how the tyre places can't fit unroadworthy tires for me even though im only going to use them on the track?

Should just use a disclaimer like UAS has that says some modifications we perform may render your car unroadworthy

You dont need a statement Paul as it is the responsibilty of the purchaser of all aftermarket parts to use them in a manner which is governed by local laws of each state
All auto shops sell aftermarket parts which alot are either for off track use ,or can only be used in certain states and nothing has to be signed
It is the purchasers responsibilty to use these parts in a safe or legal manner, not the retailer !!! :) :zlove:

    Its not a big deal

as they are for track use anyway, just thought it was odd.

What hotzx said sounds a bit more familiar

    ......Hi guys......

......believe me I am not trying to be difficult:) I am here to make money as well as supply good gear at good prices, and I don't walk away from business unless there is a really good reason. Also I do not want to upset anyone either:)

.....BUT .....it is a well known fact in Legal Circles that Disclaimers (on anything) are not worth the paper they are written on. Any solicitor that says different is just looking for fees. What other sellers do is their business. This is the way I do mine guys:zlove: I am sorry if it does not suit you. :( As I have said there are many other Coilover Systems that I can supply that are every bit as good as the Tein, and have no legal implications at all.

    ....AND.....

..........let's not forget the Tein Mono Flex;)

Whats the tech data on the mono-flex?

also, do you happen to know what makes the type flex illegal?

    I know.

The reason the flex coilovers feature a greater range of adjustment is that they have an adjustable crevise (not sure if this is spelled correctly) clip. To be road legel this clip needs to be fixed as with the Super Street coilovers.

More to having SS with pillowballs than simply buying the different tops... You need to machine a spacer and this blows the cost out to well over the difference between SS and Flex. This was never offered free with the UAS group buy and was discussed at the time with all who were interested in PB tops.
