Xforce Varex exhaust systems

Hi all,

Looking to change my exhaust system cause the one on my Z is too loud for everyday driving, wondering if anyone has installed the Varex system on their Z and at what cost approx and if so, how do they rate it. Also, what are members opinions on this system compared to other brands.

 

I heard from my friends who own them that the butterflies get jammed occasionally.

 

really? so not very reliable, do you know how much he got it install for approx & on which car?

 

It was a poopra, I don't know much it costed him. I'll ask him next time I see him...

 

I got one, works perfect Installed for me was $900 - $1000 with mufflers (was awhile ago so cant really remember)

 

i would have thought jamming would be more common, as the carbon and soot built up,less it was geared very very low to push all the crap outta the way?

 

I had one installed just a single oval muffler (Y pipe seperate into the muffler which was 2.5" single inlet and 2.5 " single outlet), not dual muffler and i found it VERY drony but a nice note at higher revs when open, and was quiet when shut but sounded just terrible, I ended up selling it after 1 week, just my experience, with a different setup might be 100x better
