Excellent tech day Took me most of the afternoon to install my new Hid lowbeams with plenty of help! , But they look great and i enjoyed myself. Looking forward to the next one!. Thanks for all the help guys!

I wanted to come yesterday. I was hoping that some of the other zedders would give my car a test drive and compare to theirs. Unfortunately as a result of that car crash the day before, I couldn't mange to turn my neck which meant no head checks which meant I wasn't going to drive. So the Zed and I stayed at my place and I gave her a wash and fitted up that pod filter I wanted to do at the tech day. Was hoping to get a blow up vaccum test done on the car as well as a conzult test so hopefully next time we have a cruise we can do a mini tech session on my car. Any pics?
Best Tech Day Ever with Pix (56k unfriendly) What a excellent day. For my first Ever Zed Tech day i had the time of my life at Pete and Jens, seeing all the zeds and all the members was inspirering and i was wrapped to meet alot of members i hadnt meet before on preivous cruises. Thanx Jen and Pete for hosting the day, you guys did so much for everyone and the BBQ was delicious. The day started off with all the cars that need the big jobs done first and it wasnt until about 1pm did we really get cracking into the rest of the cras out in the street. Alot of conzulting was going on all day long, thanx guys for giving us all the scoop on how cars with conzult, i really cant thank you enough for conzulting my zed for me. for my Efforts on the day, i was able to install my new custom double clear taillights, thanx to everyone who helped me fit the lights on, i was very pleased with the outcome cheers guys. Once the old talilights where off i removed all that sticky tar from the car. And here is the finished product on the car. Absolutely stoked with the lights and the LEDs look sweet at night. Now for the pix i took during the day. I think i was the only one to take photos. This is Travis's car which he worked on it all day, from start to finish, but it looks mint lowered on its guts travis Russ new Aluminmum tools To help out russ in the afternoon Travis gave us a helping hand, or should i say a helping finger lol haha Then he amazed us with some magic tricks First get it into postion and rub under the front bar And presto, Anti gravity zed lol

This is a first.... Probably the first time in zed history where my camera captured less than 10 pics on the whole day. The only ones I got were of Roy's lambo doors.. But hey, thanks to Pete and Jen as always... and thanks to Blipman for helping me tighten my belts and giving me a ride in that obscenely cool and loud Corvette Stingray.. Cheers
Would just like to thank Pete and Jen for hosting the event again ...Im slowly starting to remember where to go without the map ... Was a great day, didn't get back till 7.30..man I was stuffed after that drive.. Thanks again to Craig for working on my zed again ..Managed to have a look at the arial that isn't working, put my new hologram 300zx stickers on and attach the vin plate to the air guide ... Guess i'll see you all in a couple of weeks ..Can't wait till the nationals woohoo!!
Big thanks to Pete and especially Jen for cooking the snags and burgers on the BBQ... It's usually Pete who's the head chef when it comes to barbecuing... Roy's scissor doors look GREAT...would of looked even better if Jedi hadn't of shown us his butt in that picture... The cleared tail lites look really professional and on a grey car it matches perfectly. I can't believe how freakin' dirty my car looks in those pics ...blame it on the stage 3a water restrictions. Honestly, I do look after my zed...
Sry mate didnt think u still wanted to see the lights on at night. I will take some 2 night if i get a chance and post up on here. I must say they look great, they spread the whole length of the light area and look red red for brakes and orange for the indicators.

The day looked huge! Acres of Zeds and lots of work being done/stories being told. I gotta ask but, what happened to the all mighty hedge out the front Pete?!!!

Thank you to everyone who made the trip down. It really is great to host these days and see all the new and old members. Extra special thanks to my wonderful fiance Jen (Blondie) for organising and cooking all the food and drink. Sorry to all the people I didn't get to spend a lot of time with, or whos's cars I didn't get to have a good look at, after the mad month of April is over I should have some time if people want to come down and see me on weekends. Thanks to Ben for letting me take the Super Pimp Vette for a quick lap of the block, I can't wait to drive it once it is running properly......and has brakes . Hopefully we will see a lot of you at the island in just over a weeks time. PS. Brad, I miss the hedge, but Jen and Alex (stepson) were alergic to the Cypres Pine (started itching and scratching when came into contact) so in the end it had to go. The fence you see in the pictures has just been sold on ebay and a new 6' metal fence goes up this weekend.
