Took my new Zed out to Eastern Creek tonite for her maiden voyage. :zlove: Well, first, I really need to practice my launch. My best 60' time was a poor 2.3 sec. :angry: Secondly, I need to work on my shifts. Kept changing gears too late in the rev range. Third, can't use street tyres on the strip. Got very little traction. But finally, my clutch is stuffed!! :thumbsdown: JP warned me that it was on its way out. As soon as I went WOT, the clutch just slips like crazy. :wacko: So, If I can, will get a new 6 puck clutch fitted ASAP. Oh, by the way. Best time was 14.514 @ 98.86 mph, which was my first run.
Good to get a baseline run. Funny how the drags seems to find out if your clutch isnt quite up to it! You might find that it is harder to launch the TT than your NA as there is often very little RPM margin between bogging down or lighting the rears.
