A little history on the graphology of the kanji.Oni the Red Devil (often portrayed in 'No' plays ('NO' is the japanese traditional theatre) was famous for carrying a big bat/club with which he bludgoned people to death in the night. Your Kanji sig is made from several components. The square with lines through it is 'da' which means rice field but also means 'divided' or 'separated' (like a ricefield). Then there are two arms, one of which surrounds a small character. I cant remember its name, but it forms part of the kanji 'kanojo' which means girl/woman. The tick at the top left is his bat. So if you visualise the kanji it is a head of Oni with his arm wrapped around the girl. he is dividing the girl (from family) by force of the bat.You chose a nice kanji, you evil murdering rapist bastard.
