Just had the 100k service done, and am just a tad mindful / worried re the spread or max diff in the compression test results ; (its an '90 N/A

    1. 180psi
    2. 175psi
    3. 175psi
    4. 175 psi
    5. 165 psi
    6. 165 psi

Yea so the max diff being 15 psi btwn no'1 & 5/6. I know in the tech section it mentions a max diff of 14psi is the tolerance ; should i be concerned here or am i splitting hairs? Can someone elighten me of what good numbers are for a N/A and bad numbers? In the real world that is not so much whats in the book? What is the 'typical' max diff, is there is such a thing?

    Any elightenment greatly appreciated.

Yes it was, at least im going to assume it was, it was done by the boys at unique auto sports. They usually take the zeds for a mild 'around the block' to get the juices flowing. Whats your impression on the spread wazTTed

on a NA i wouldnt worry too much really dude. most nas would have worse figures then that these days... i wouldnt bolt any turbos on... just enjoy it. you will probably get another 5 years of life in her. just make sure you change the oil and filter religiously ... and make sure your coolant system is up to scratch

Relax and enjoy. After ~ 20 years

of use your engine is showing the usual wear and tear signs. As others have said, many, many other motors show much wider differences are a still reliable daily drivers.

Nothing to worry about...With frequent quality oil changes, cooling system maintenance and a concerned, caring owner (you), your zed will probably do another couple hundred thousand kays.:zlove:
